Clarks, a name synonymous with comfort and quality, began in 1825 with two brothers, Cyrus and James Clark. Their story started with a simple idea: crafting slippers from sheepskin offcuts. This dedication to resourcefulness and innovation has been at the heart of Clarks for nearly 200 years.
Clarks prioritizes both comfort and timeless design. They are pioneers in foot-shaped technology, ensuring a perfect fit and all-day support. Their classic styles have transcended generations, while their commitment to innovation keeps them at the forefront of modern footwear trends.
I have problems with my feet and I do a lot of outdoor walking in the city for work. It’s always a challenge finding cute shoes that are also comfortable. But these shoes did it! They’re cute, comfortable, and my feet don’t hurt after walking from client to client in the city. I used to have to wear sneakers to walk, then stop and dig a pair of shoes out of my backpack when I’d visit a client, then switch into sneakers again to talk to the next place and repeat. Not anymore!! I couldn’t be happier with these shoes!
I have multiple foot issues and struggle to find shoes dressy or casual enough I go to wear to work. I cannot wear many aside from name brand tennis shoes without irritating my tendinitis, plantar facitis, or my arthritis. I am fairly young (40) but because of severe club feet as a baby, my feet were reconstructed with little chance I would ever walk. These shoes are comfortable to wear all day. They are a little narrow considering they are a wide shoe and still squeeze a bit in the toe area but not so much it causes pain. I have a wide foot so ballet shoes are impossible to wear. The shoe material provides a sturdy base and enclosure. The heel is a bit higher than a ballet slipper which is ideal for me to provide ankle support. There is some arch support but not significant enough to mention. I cannot wear orthotics with these shoes so I am lacking the arch support I need. Overall these are wonderful shoes. They look great wwith any outfit, work or play. We can't expect perfection when we all have different feet. I will be ordering more!
Unfortunately they were tight on my toes. I should have gotten a wider shoe.
I love Clarks' quality and fit. I have Clarks' in several different styles. I like the look of Clarks' rounded toe. This is my third pair in this style. The other two pairs are still in good condition. I just need to make sure I don't run out. Most of all I like the comfort. I am retired, and I like the look for things like casual lunch with friends. I like Toe is rounded and with enough room.I have taken these on many international trips. They are good (for me) for regular walking - even all day.
I bought these for a choir concert after reading many reviews online. I have back problems and standing still on the risers really aggravates it. Many people said they use these shoes to stand at their jobs for seven plus hours a day and that they offer great suppport and are super comfortable. I did feel cushion with them but they did nothing to alleviate my pain while standing continuously. They are also very narrow. I bought and 8.5 instead of an 8 because they offered the 8.5 in wide. Even the "wide" toe was pretty narrow. Overall I was pretty disappointed but will not return them since I wore them all day already.
I love ballet flats, and while these have a thicker outsole than most, I still put them in the ballet flats category. Clarks are usually a bit pricey, but these were a good value, and about 30% less than our local shoe retailer. Plus...THEY. ARE. SO.COMFORTABLE!! The sizing was correct, the overall quality was typical for Clarks (and what they're known for), and I like the colors and styling. They are very "cushy", and I could walk all day in them! Very happy with this purchase!
I have an office job at a large resort that requires a moderate amount of walking, so I wanted a casual dress shoe that would give good cushioning for the bottom of my feet. I had such high hopes for these. Alas, they are terribly tight specifically in the heel. The first time I wore them they destroyed my heels with blisters from the back pinching. Unfortunately if they were any more loose they would flip off when I walk. The bottom of foot support was everything I wanted and felt like walking on clouds, but the heel terror can't be tolerated.I normally wear a 7.5 regular in dress shoes and 8 regular in tennis shoes, but the 7.5s just pinched so bad.I thought it would be a matter of wearing them in, but there is no way I can stand another day and a shredded heel. I'm not sure if I can still return since I wore them for a full day at work.If you do decide to give these a try and you do NOT have narrow feet try going up a 1/2 size. Clark's in general are amazing. It may just be this style that is off.
Truly a nice pair of shoes. Look great for work. Easy walking. Only problem was delivery. Box was stuffed into the mailbox so no letters could go in and it was very difficult to get out. That box was too big for the mailbox and should have been placed on the porch. There’s no place to comment on the delivery for this product.
