Cobb Hill Women's Rubey Thong Sling Flat Sandal is a comfortable sandal that offers good arch support. I've had plantar fasciitis for many years, so I generally wear shoes that allow me to insert my custom orthotics. I bought these Cobb Hill Rubey Thong Sling sandals because they offer pretty good arch support. The velcro on the straps behind your heel & across your instep are fairly easy to put on & take off & the thong post is leather covered & comfortable. The only negative is that the white color is a light beige, not a true white.
I was excited to find that Cobb Hill carried a narrow in this shoe, so I ordered a 6N. I found it to be a little wider in the ball of the foot to the toes, but not quite a medium width. It's not designed with Velcro to take up a little slack in that area. Because it didn't fit there, I felt like it didn't have the support all over the foot as I walked. The heel does not cup around the outside of the heel like many of the better made sandals are now doing. I couldn't get the arch to fit where I needed the arch and also have the ball and the heel fit. Overall it was not a 6N compared to my other sandals from other companies. At the price that it is, it should have been a precise fit and support while walking.
Love these sandals. Comfortable from the first day. Velcro closure to loosen or tighten as needed. A little more gold than yellow--goes great with denim.
Uncomfortable, not enough footbed cushioning, upper material is fabric type on this style and not leather as solid choices, print pattern is too pale but very pretty, sandal is not as expected in price, craftmanship, and materials from this higher end shoe company, ugh.
Very comfortable. Great to wear all day long. Sporty and elegant. Would definitely buy again.
