I’m a 6-1/2 with narrow heels, high arch and somewhat wider toes. I ordered in both 6 and 7 using Prime Wardrobe. The 7 was too loose so back it went. The 6 was a little tight and the arch felt a bit weird. Here’s how I made it perfect for me.First I followed the advice in another crock review and tossed them in a medium heat clothes dryer, along with a hand towel, for 4 minutes. Then I put them on my stockinged feet and wore them for an hour mostly standing or walking. I ended up doing this 2x, but the result was that they are perfectly molded to my feet with great cushioning everywhere.I found the back strap to be tight and it kind of twisted my foot when I walked, so I cut it off completely. I was concerned that it would make the shoe less secure on my foot but that didn’t happen. The rubber bottom kind of grips my feet and the fit is secure. Plus it’s a lot cuter looking. Less clunky and I like being able to just slide in and out of the without dealing with the back elastic strap.
I bought this sandal several years ago but sadly it seems to have been discontinued. I wear it daily and get so many compliments. It looks great and is super comfy! I great summer sandal.
I like the style and comfort of Crocks. I've worn Crocks for years. The Left Crock fits perfectly but, this R Crock doesn't fit well. I think the elastic is a bit shorter/tighter than the left Crock. My toes hang over the edge of the Right Crock once I start walking. You don't notice it until you start walking farther. I understand it's too late to return it, by a couple of days. Just wanted to alert people that this could be an issue and try them out when you first get this item, outdoors. Walking in the house didn't reveal this problem at first.
Let me tell you, these things are made for the wear and tear tough terrain. They may look simple but these bad boys will get you through the hard times.
When I first put these on, I thought OMG THESE ARE HEAVENLY. The soles are soooo comfortable. You can count on Crocs for that. But unfortunately, as other reviewers have noted, the straps are problematic for multiple reasons.1) The toe strap is NOT stretchy. It actually seems to be elastic sewed on top of regular fabric, so it looks from the outside and from pictures like all the straps are elastic. But unlike the middle strap and heel strap, the toe strap doesn't stretch, which means...2) The toe strap pinches my skin between it and the middle strap. You can see in my picture how the skin is a little red. This is just from walking around in them in the house for a few minutes. Maaaaaybe the fabric would start to give and form to my foot a bit more, but I'm not taking that risk. More likely, it would continue to rub/pinch and I would be even more uncomfortable when wearing for a prolonged amount of time.3) The shoe is long and narrow.I don't think I have very wide feet. Maybe a little? But it almost seemed as if my feet were too wide for these. I usually wear anywhere from a 5 to a 6, so I ordered up with a 6 and it still felt narrow.CONCLUSION: This shoe probably works great for certain feet shapes/types, but unfortunately not for mine. I feel like a lot of the issue would be solved if the toe strap were actually stretchy, but I guess I'll never know. Pretty bummed. I wanted to love these! Maybe I'll be able to find another pair of Crocs sandals I like...
These are by far the worst shoes I’ve ever owned.I bought these because I read an article that rated these as being good for people with plantar fasciitis. I had a trip to Disney planned and wanted a pair of comfy sandals for the trip with arch support.First I got my normal size (8) but they were too small. So i sent back and got a size higher. No half sizes. Not a huge deal. But when I actually wore them - worst most painful shoe ever. The little nubs on the inside of the shoe rub and irritated my feet almost immediately. I didn't have socks on and thought I could just deal with it. After several hours at Epcot walking- i felt like I was walking on needles. By the end of the day I was scouring the park for any other pairs of shoes but couldn’t find my size. By the time I got back to my hotel I was in tears. These shoes caused me multiple blisters all over both feet. Some of my blisters are the size of quarters - but the tiny blisters are the worst. They are all over matching the exact patterns of the grid of nubs on the inside of this shoe.I know everyone says Crocs are great but not these puppies. I will NEVER wear these again. In fact I have every intention of burning them when I get home just out of principle. I have never had shoes this bad. I would’ve done better in six inch heals - seriously. If I could give these zero stars I would. I will never buy Crocs again.
I originally purchased a navy blue pair, wore them to work for a week (house cleaning professional on my feet 8-10 hours a day in the Florida heat), and decided they are my new favorite shoes. Promptly purchased a black pair, love them just as much. More than a year of daily wear and both the blue and black are still the most comfy shoes I could possibly want and are showing virtually no wear and tear (aside from the footbed molding to the shape of my tootsies, which is actually a bonus!), so I ordered a gray pair. The gray ones are a bit different design (2 "toe straps" and a more forward-slanted heel strap than the originals, which have 1 toe strap and 1 heel strap that goes around the front of the ankle). The new ones are just as comfortable as the 2 original pairs I purchased last year, and based on the wear and tear (or lack thereof) on those original 2 pairs, I know I'll have years of comfortable feet with the new ones. Overall I am incredibly satisfied with these Crocs - they are FAR MORE stylish and comfortable than the regular old Crocs that everyone knows and loves (yes, I have 2 pairs of those too - great for the boat, but not overly stylish for daily wear). Cannot go wrong with the LiteRide sandals - excellent value as they wear like iron, comfortable as all heck, and I frequently get "cute shoes!" compliments. Everyone is surprised when I say "they're Crocs"!
