Run a little small, probably size up. My toes hang off the end a bit if I don't purposefully set my foot father back in the shoes. The first time wearing these for several hours and over 6 miles it rubbed a bit and bothered one area of my foot. After giving my feet a break for a day and wearing them again, they were so comfortable and had no additional issues even when walking and being on my feet for hours. I even had to do a small hike in these one day, they worked great. The piece of leather between the toes was never an irritant. You do have to find your happy place on the velcro adjustment, but that just takes some time wearing them to figure it out. I prefered to wear mine pretty loosely adjusted so I could keep my toes in the right spot.Would highly recommend for comfort plus they look nice with the black leather!

I normally wear an 8.5 and my foot was swimming in the 8.5/9, even with the strap tightened as far as it would go. However the 7.5/8 and was perfect. These shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The leather is smooth and buttery, they fit securely, and they don't rub or chafe anywhere. The cork sole is like walking on a cloud. They also look super chic and will be versatile sandals for both sightseeing and wearing out to nice dinners on our upcoming trip to Europe. Great arch support. I honestly did not want to take them off after trying them on!

I own this shoe in 2 colors. They traveled with me to Greece, Italy and Hawaii where I do a lot of walking. They are amazingly comfortable,and the style is really versatile. I can wear them with a skirt, short or pants and they look great.

I have been wearing Dansko clogs and sandals for decades and I always wear a size 40. These just arrived, so my review is limited. The leather is very soft and comfy and the toe strap is very comfortable. I was worried it would rub, but it doesn't seem to. They feel a bit loose, including in the width, and there is very little arch support. I have a very high arch and this barely gives me enough support. There is a velcro strap, so I am hoping it will let me adjust the shoe as the leather stretches. I bought the 'linen' and the color is beautiful and a great neutral color to add to my shoe wardrobe. I won't know how much it will stretch for a few weeks.I just got my "cactus" green and love the color. It's not the bright green as shown, but definitely an organic/leathery green. When I was just sitting and working on a project, I realised the sides of my feet were rolling over the edge of the shoe. Thus surprised me, because one of the reasons I've always love Dansko is because the toe box has always been generously sized. I'm slightly wider there than in the heel area. So I stood up and realised I am just barely fitting into these on the width. I guess this is the NEW DANSKO - it was bought out several years ago and the new owners have made changes that I don't care for..

These are comfy.I have foot drop and these work for me.They can go summer dress as a subtle shoe, or hippie mode casual.And because they're Danskos, I know the investment will last a long time.Love Danskos!

So comfortable like wearing flip flops but better support and a back strap to hold them in place. I have since purchased a pair in another color. They have become my go-to summer shoes.

Just received them yesterday and wore them today all day. I love them! They are very well made and attractive. Fit is good. Not too loose on the top of my feet like other sandals are.
