These sandals were comfy out of the box - no breaking in period. I have a wide foot, so ordered the wide. They are plenty wide- could have almost gotten the regular width. But I needed to use them for a trip and they did not disappoint as I walked over 11,000 steps (5+ miles) on the first day I wore them. I won't be wearing them with my pretty dresses/skirts, but for those treks outdoors and in the city, they are perfect.
I do a lot of walking so I like comfort in my sandals. These are just great! First, the size is completely adjustable by the use of three velcro straps. And I have adjusted them all! This also allows for comfortable adjustments for feet that might tend to swell a little in heat and humidity. (Guilty!) The soles are supportive but flexible with a little bit of cushiness which I like.... squishy but not too soft. Some of my "squishy" sandals (including the expensive brands) tend to squeak a little when you walk but these don't. I ordered the navy blue. It is a lighter shade of navy with some lighter blue accents. But I am very pleased. I highly recommend this comfortable sandals and I will probably buy a second pair in a different color because I am so pleased with them.
The buttons only ask if the arch support is good, yes or no. There is not a button for "sort of". The arch support is ok for all day but not like say a tennis shoe. I do a lot of walking and I am a heavy person. The shoes are comfortable for running errands but I would not wear them to a theme park or where I am on my feet the entire day. The shoes are not exactly cute but they are nice and the color is neutral. They fit true to size. Over all I would buy a second pair.
I got these sandals because they were inexpensive and attractive, plus they looked like good everyday shoes. I have really long narrow feet and they fit nicely. Sometimes shoes I purchase are too short, but it wasn't the case with these. The length and width plus the adjustable straps made this sandal fit very comfortably. Wore them all day with no problems.
This is my second pair of these shoes. I wore the first pair, off and on all summer long, because they are so comfortable. Especially if I have a lot of shopping to do. The cushioning of the footbed is so nice, and it keeps me from having foot pain. I have at least nine pairs of Easy Spirit sandals. About 12 years ago, I was constantly having pain in the ball of my left foot. I had a cortisone injection which didn’t last very long. In 2013, I purchased my 1st pair of Explorer 24 sandals by ES, they totally stopped the pain.
Sandals are as expected quality wise but they are a little too large. It took 10 days to get here via FedX. Don't know what the problem was but I don't want to return them for a smaller size. I will make them work with an inner sole.
These sandals are comfortable, offer fairly good support, run true to size, and have three adjustable velcro straps so that you can get the fit you need. The only issue is that I have a very narrow foot, so the velcro straps are too long when fastened. (To note, I usually order a Narrow Width but it wasn't available for this sandal.)
I was looking for a sandal with support so that I could walk for long distances without pain. I suffer from bunions so support as well as style are very important to me. These sandals are lightweight, comfortable and have great arch support. They are also stylish and hide the appearance of my bunions. I liked them so much that I purchased a second pair.
