After reading a few reviews about how the sizing of these shoes is a bit small, I ordered a 39 (size 9 US). I normally wear an 8.The shoes fit like a glove. The first time I wore them was on a Sunday where I spent the entire day out and about. They were ridiculously comfortable !!! At the end of the day when it was time to come back home I didn't even want to take them off. No kidding. Comfort aside, these shoes are absolutely beautiful! A bright, lovely red with a stitched deisgn. The leather is soft and the shoes are extremely well made.The old saying "you get what you pay for" - may not apply to all things. But I firmly believe it applies to shoes. So why not spend a little more for comfort and take care of your feet. Buying cheap shoes just means you'll have to spend that extra money on a podiatrist.

These shoes are so bright, every where I go, including Home Depot, people comment on how much I "must love red". They really are a little more bold than I expected, but snazzy and fun. I only gave them 4 stars because of the fit. On one ankle, the side comes up a little high and hits me, plus I wish there was a little more padding. Other reviewers said they were able to wear them all day without any discomfort. Not for me. My feet were tired and a tiny bit sore after 4 hours. I do think they'll break in nice though. The quality is bar none. They are heavy, especially the sole, but they look like they'll last a very long time. Also, the sizes do seem to run small. Since they are European sized, it would be a good idea to bump it up one size.

Amazing shoe.I am a nurse in a surgical area and work on my feet for long hours, I cannot wear anything else.I love the recycled rubber sole. It has awesome shock absorption and great flexibility while maintaining shape and stability mile after mile.The leather upper is soft and quickly molds to fit your foot.Although their original insert is soft and comfortable it wears over time and if replaced the life of the shoe can be multiplied exponentially. I put superfeet inserts.I have had 3 pairs of these over 10 years but only due to theft (suitcase was stolen, not just shoe), and water damage as I believe they would have lasted the whole time. During a heavy rain, while wearing outside on the way home from work the shoe became completely submerged. This caused the cardboard inside the two layers of leather used to stiffen and shape the toe to become crumpled. Cobbler was unable to repair.

I have been wearing this shoe brand for 15 years. ( I bought earlier pairs at the stores.) This's the second time I have ordered them on Amazon. Just arrived a few hours ago. The first time, I ordered the purple pair calls Lila, It is just like the pairs that I've been wearing these years. I like it so much, I just order 2 more pairs, one is Lila, the other is black. The Lila pair is just like the one I ordered a few months ago, but the black one is different.The boxes are different, and the insoles and the tags are also different. When I tried the Lila one on, they are just like the many pairs that I have before, they fit nicely, they are comfortable with the cushion insoles, and the leather feels just right. I tried the black one on and walk from the living room to the dining room, just about 7 feet away. My feet hurt so bad I had to take them out and will return the black one. The leather from the black one is so stiff I don't know if they are real leather. My point is, beware of these things, I wonder if they have been made by the same company. Disappointed!

Very nice quality.Very fast delivery. Very nice brownish color and it was on sale when I ordered it for something between 70 and 80. I ordered 38 as I am typically 7.5 or 8 in US. It was a bit tight. But the main reason I returned it. The upper part was a bit uncomfortable if the top of your food is a bit fat:)) I don't know the exact word, but I prefer it to be more clog like and has enough space and coverage to be more comfortable. Again the quality was superb!

I've wanted these shoes for over a year and finally decided to treat myself. They are amazing. They are sturdy and comfy and oh-so-cute. I have trouble with my feet, and need a shoe that offers good support and that doesn't dig in anywhere. The adjustable strap makes it possible to wear these shoes comfortably with or without socks. They're easy to walk in and add a little height without unbalancing. They look great with long pants, capris, or skirts. I've gotten tons of comments about them and they've become my go-to-shoe on a daily basis. Just tailored enough for work yet with a whimsical flair for fun and interest. In a sandal I wear a US 8 1/2 and in a shoe I wear a US 9 -- I bought a 40 and it fits perfectly. Wish I could buy a pair in every color!

I have these shoes in a size 41 in brown and they fit perfectly and are a dream to wear. I have tried ordering these in size 41 in black twice and both times there was a problem. The first pair had a right shoe that was about 1/2" shorter than the left shoe. The 2nd pair had both shoes about 1/2" shorter than the same size in the brown. I will try one more time to get a black pair that fits, but then give up!
