Flats ShoesThis incredibly comfortable cork footbed sandal comes with a backstrap and a closed toe. Handmade in spain by skilled craftsman with years of experience. This is a very natural leather, with a rustic appearance, treated with natural oils in a traditional way. When you touch it and wear it, you will experience luxurious softness. This sandal has a comfort last with a slanted design that fits with the natural shape of the foot. It has been made by studying the anatomical shape of the foot so that the shoes are replicas of the natural design of our feet. This ergonomic shape does not compress the foot when either walking or at rest, providing great comfort and health with every step. This anatomically designed insole is made of recycled cork. Their role is simple but extremely important: they fit the shape of the foot like a Glove. Thus, when walking, the weight is distributed optimally throughout the sole of the foot and the impact is absorbed, avoiding damage to the sensitive areas. In other words, every step is a pleasure. The outsole is made of natural rubber for flexibility, durability and shock absorption. Environmentally minded El Naturalista uses recycled materials whenever possible, only recycled rubber or natural rubber, water-based glues, leathers that are vegetable tanned and packaging from recycled materials.

I normally wear a size 37 (6.5 US size in heels and a size 7 in tennis shoes) but I know from trying these on in a store that the size 38 fit better. So, I'd say these shoes run a little small and it is best to go up a European size from what you regularly wear. So, I am not sure what to say here. They fit as expected because I knew they ran small. If I would have ordered my normal size 37 I know they would have been too small.I love the way these shoes feel on my feet and I love the styling. Just perfect! Five stars!
Others have posted about this and I should have listened: these shoes RUN SMALL. I wear a US size 8.5 and have never had issues with a European size 39 until this pair. It was so unexpectedly painful to insert my foot into the front part of the shoe I actually thought back to how the stepsisters in Cinderella must have felt like (yes, an odd thought to pop into your head). These are very nice-looking sandals otherwise, but I had to return them, and I'm not even sure if size 40 would fit well.(As a side note, I also ordered the El Naturalista Viajero Slipper in size 39, and oddly enough, that one was not snug at all. It seems like the brand has inconsistencies in its sizing, so make sure to try on before you commit, or look for a generous return/exchange policy.)
Brilliant green color -- happy-looking and comfortable, with great arch support. If you have very wide feet these may not be for you, but I have pretty wide feet and can walk in them most of the day.
I wear a 10AA. These shoes fit perfectly with no break in needed. Extremely comfortable if u have a narrow foot. If your foot is wide. U probably shouldn't purchase this shoe.
This is the 2nd pair of shoes I have ordered from El Naturalista. The 1st pair I simply love, and wear them often, love the color and the fit is perfect. When I saw these I liked the color and the style. The shoes arrived today, was excited, opened the box and tried on but could not get my foot in the shoe. Very disappointed. The foot bed is cut way too small, I could not even get my foot in the shoe. I will be returning today. I really liked the style. Sad.
Adorable shoes, but the leather scuffed off the toes the first time I wore them. I've owned other pairs of El Naturalistas & have always been happy with the quality, but these can't have been made with real leather. So disappointed!
I wanted this shoes to for so much! 💔 After reading the reviews I decided to go with an 11 (I’m usually 9.5-10). They were just small, I needed a 12 but they don’t have it. Also, the rim under the heel looked a little worn and the brand in the sole was kind of erased; probably they weren’t brand new or have been tried a lot! :-) They are super cool and comfy, too bad they aren’t true to size.
