Cute shoe but runs narrow and short

DisappointedI purchased my normal shoe size and it was too tight. Let my daughter try them whose foot is a half size smaller and they were too tight for her as well
When I first got this shoes they fit well but were a little sore (rubbed in a few places) to wear until broke in. They squeaked a lot as well until broke it. After only 3 months of wearing they fell apart and are not longer wearable. I was a disappointed with the cost and quality.
Bought to go to a wedding. Matches dress well. True to size.
I wear a true 8.5. These shoes run big. I'm ordering an 8.
I wear a size 6 and these sandals are atleast an entire size too small. I wear a 6 in hey dude, converse, nine west, mk, adidas, Nike, etc so I'm sure that is my size. These sandals are also not the quality I expected. The materials are pretty thin. They arrived on time and were packaged well, but the sizing is not correct and I was simply expecting a higher quality than what I received.
