We LOVE these shoes! My three-year-old daughter is very picky about everything she wears, particularly her shoes. She wants everything to be girly, sparkly, etc. However, I want everything she wears to be completely comfortable and sturdy, so her clothes won't keep her from running, climbing, and exploring! These shoes make us both very happy, the first pair to do so in awhile. She has worn them every day for more than two months and they still look fantastic.I'm writing this review because some of the reviews had me concerned about durability and long-term appearance. However, I've been very pleased with these shoes in both these regards. My daughter gets two hours each day of outdoor time at her preschool (we live in Florida, so even though it's winter, this is actually our prime-time play season) and both my kids tend to destroy their shoes quickly. These have held up beautifully. The sparkly surface looks brand new, which is pretty amazing -- way better than any of our sparkly Tom's or Stride-Rites. The rubber toes have kept the shoes safe from wearing out after tricycle-scooting. (Many of our shoes blow out their toes after a month of scooting across pavement on little bikes and cars.) The flower does show a little wear and fraying, but it still looks super cute -- not dingy, in my opinion. It is very securely attached. They don't look like pristine dress-up shoes at this point, but we never would have subjected them to two months of hard everyday wear if that had been my hope, and for an everyday shoe they're actually as dressy and good-looking as anything my daughter needs to wear at this age. She wore them to church yesterday and we got compliments as usual. :) I have had to wash these shoes well one time, when my daughter spent an hour running through potting soil while these shoes were new. :P I used a washcloth and gentle cleanser. Everything cleaned up beautifully, even the flower.Other reviewers have noted that these would not work without socks, and I agree -- the silver stuff would be a little rough. But my kids always wear socks almost every day, even during our hot Florida summers, because playground mulch is no fun to navigate with bare feet. I see that Pediped has these pictured without socks, though, which again, I don't think would work well. We had the same issue with our Tom's shoes with glitter -- too rough on the edges to wear without socks.As for being shoes that are both beautiful and equipped for heavy play, these definitely fit the bill. My daughter trips easily if her shoes aren't great, and she is always sturdy in these. In her words: "My shoes are beautiful and awesome AND fast!" She loves the silver, because she's sure that's what Elsa would wear. :) The glitter has almost a rainbow reflection when it catches the light, which she thinks is magical.These shoes are another huge win for us from Pediped, my favorite source of sturdy, adorable shoes for my daughter. I love the flexible sizing -- you get little foam inserts to use while the shoes are still on the big size, so you can order a slightly bigger size than usual and get more wear out of them. For what it's worth, I also greatly appreciate that Pediped is part of the Fair Labor Association.

These are great quality, super-sparkly, easy to put on shoes for toddlers/preschoolers. Our 4yo received them for Christmas after outgrowing a pair of black patent Stride Rite Mary Janes and she was *thrilled* to see the iridescent sparkle and the big flower on these shoes. The sparkle is in the fabric - it's not cheap glitter that flakes off, and the shoes themselves are extremely sturdy. They work equally well as all-day school shoes as well as "fancy" shoes for special occasions. Even with the light color they are pretty resistant to dirt and can be wiped clean easily. They fit well with thin socks since we bought them a tiny bit larger to give her some room to grow.

My 3 year old daughter is in love with these shoes. My daughter has wide feet and although these shoes do not come in wide width, they fit her perfectly. We have about 5 pairs of Pediped's currently for her and she wears them all the time. They are dressy but do not come with the slippery soles of most other dress shoes. Also, how they are made and the rubber soles makes them comfortable to wear all day. They are beautifully made and I will continue to purchase them in larger sizes as my daughter grows!

My daughter loves these. They're comfortable and she loves the sparkle. Everyone asks where she got them. They have faded somewhat over the last few months (and she doesn't wear them daily) but structurally they are still in great shape.

These are really cute and nice to wear for a special occasion. Carrie's Bradshaw's daughter was spotted wearing the pink color of this exact shoe.I am a big fan of pediped for their comfort and overall great quality. My only complaint about these shoes is the sparkly fabric...it seems like it gets dirty quickly and you can't clean it as easily as a leather pediped shoe. Regardless, I already bought 2 pairs of these, because I love them so much. The first pair got trashed within 2 weeks from preschool washable paint that wouldn't come out on the fabric, and a hole in the toe area from my daughter dragging her feet on a scooter. I bought the 2nd pair to use for special occasions only such as a Christmas holiday party or dinners out on vacation.

shoes are cute and come in 1/2 sizes which was needed for my 3 year old. She only wore them daycare and less than a month when the sole broke away from the shoe. Truly disappointed with this pair of shoes especially for the price.

These are our first pair and already I am shopping for more. love this shoes and so does my 5 year old daughter. It is durable! Stylish! And provides great arch support. We adore these shoes! They're so much fun and just looking at them makes me smile. I love the fact that they have the rubber on the toe. I have a very active daughter and most shoes don't last more than a day or 2 before she has the toe scuffed off.These will definitely make it to the hand me down pile

This brand came highly recommended...SO Disappointing!...I bought this shoe and another similar one from this brand in a different color. Jad the same issues with both pairs. The shoes are ok...for a (famous family chain)bargain box store,.."in the meantime interim" fun style kick around pair of shoes....but As a main school shoe at this price point, not as durable as you would expect. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE!...I was unimpressed at the quality...less than a month of not everyday use and they look scuffed and worn. they seem "flimsy"
