So many wide width sandals don't provide enough room for the top of my feet. I have high arches, but wide widths often just give horizontal spce and not vertical space. These give me both, are comfortable and very attractive.
Propet is well-known to those of us who are hard to fit. I ordered a flip-flop type sandal because it appeared (to me) to have an orthopedic design which would support painful flat feet. Although I ordered women’s size 11 in a double wide (WW), I felt that this sandal bottom wasn’t designed to accommodate a wider forefoot, metatarsus, and toes as one would expect in an extra width shoe. In my opinion, Propet short-cut the sandal bottom (outer sole) by attaching a single-width bottom to the size 11 (longer) thong and straps. Perhaps a cost-saving measure, or quality control oversight! Disappointing :(
