It's the attention to the small things that make this a great shoe. Roomy toe box! I like to walk with my toes slightly spread and a medium thick sock. These are so nice... I can wiggle my toes and I feel very balanced. I like the insole, a nice balance of cushion and support. It is a removable insole, which is perfect. I can switch out the insoles for my custom insoles if I am going to be on my feet all day. I love the soles. They are flexible enough that I can walk with a long stride. The tread has a nice grippy feeling and I feel secure even on wet leaves. The sole is not too heavy, so I feel quick on my feet. the sole is thick enough that my feet don't get cold standing on cold pavement,Having the laces go all the way down to the toes allows me to adjust the fit to accommodate my high arches. The zipper is a nice design touch, but not something that I use. These are so good looking that I haven't used them in the rain yet...even though the description says they are waterproof. These shoes are surprisingly warm. which was a nice surprise for me. I think it must be from the lining that is a knit fabric. I love the color, like fall leaves. This is a perfect shoe for fall..
Very happy with this style, easy on and off with zippers, and perfect with jeans. Usually wear a size 9 but took a chance with EU 41 and they fit perfectly.
This is my second pair of Romante shoes. Love the zipper closure. Very comfortable.

I have bought several pairs of this style and the boot style. They are very comfortable for all day wear and walking. I have a couple pair of gray jeans so this looked like a great match. To my delight the shoes are more pewter than dull gray. They will work with any shade of gray.
I love that they are water resistant and won’t be damaged when I walk my dogs through wet grasses. They are good looking and fit very well.
The shoe is cute but felt hard on the soles of my feet because of the thin insole. I kept it and got an extra set of insoles. For the price, it should have better cushioning.
