Sam Edelman Women's Felicia Ballet Flat, Black Leather, 7 Narrow

Out of nowhere this summer, I got a painful bunion. All of a sudden I cannot wear any of my shoes. I tried several pairs of flats and they all hurt. This pair has soft supple leather and do not put pressure on my bunion. AND - they look very nice! I looked at so many wide dress shoes or shoes for bunions and most are very ugly. These are not and in fact look very nice. Only two negatives - they run very small. I had to go a full size up. Second, the wide width toe box is perfect, but there is not much room in height, so at first it felt like my big toes were touching the tops of the shoes. It seems to have gotten better. I wore them to work right out of the box, no break-in time, no blisters. I am giving them 5 stars because after looking at tons of flats online and reading hundreds of reviews, I can wear these to work without pain and they look nice and I would have bought them even if I didn't have a foot issue.

Ordered my second pair of these because I love them so much. I ordered my first pair in a 7 and they were a little snug, but fit OK so I just kept them. Wore them almost every day while visiting my bro in NYC and they were pretty filthy by the end of my trip...they also stretched out a bit. I cleaned them up and they look fine now, but wanted a spare and was able to score a pair when Amazon had them priced at over 50% off. Ordered those in a 7.5 and the fit is much more comfy, they'll still be good after some stretching.I've noticed that sizing on these Felicia's are a little iffy. I ordered the 7.5 in classic nudea few months ago and had to return them because they were HUGE, but the other 7.5's that I have in black leather, black suede, and black/white snake fit perfectly. The flats are really comfy, but if you're looking for support, look elsewhere. I always, always have problems with flats no matter how comfortable people claim them to be. These are the only flats - and I have many - that I've been able to wear without getting a single blister or experiencing any discomfort. My only wish is that they showed just a little toe cleavage, just a teeny bit and that the toe was more round instead of almond-shaped...sometimes I feel like the black ones look a little matronly when I wear them to the office.

I love the fact that this has a really nice cushion for soles. No need to break in coz the leather is soft. I have chubby slightly wide feet. I got size 7Wide, am normally a size 6 or 6.5wide.I hope they dont discontinue this line coz I love the fit. I might get the beige one as well lol i also hope they’ll have this in toe cap version and pointed toe version.

I purchased these ballet flats at the urging of my daughter who lives in NYC. She commutes daily for work and wears them for comfort and so that her "nicer" shoes/heels don't take the initial beating if the cold, mean subway and street terrain. Being a die-hard stiletto enthusiast; born with a rather high instep, I scoffed that such a comfortable flat could be procured for a person like myself. Alas! It exists! They are cute, comfy, padded just enough, and look great with just about anything. I live in a suburban environment, and are a great alternative to always donning the inappropriate shoe. I would like to own more colors, and might have to keep adding to my collection. They do rim approximately 1/2 size shorter - at least for me. They are made well and relatively inexpensive - especially considering I own a few pairs ofAgl flats from Nordstrom's. indulge your inner shoe fetish, you won't be sorry. Amy

I am a size 4 in most brands(e.g. Naturalizer). Most size 5 shoes are far too big. Sam Edelman heels in size 4 are too big, but their size 4 Felicia is too small.I have 9 other pairs of the Felicia, all in size 4.5. Since Sam Edelman is discontinuing sizes 4 and 4.5 for their entire line, I though I would see how well the size 5 fits. Weirdly, these are only slightly loose. Maybe I got a defectively sized pair, but hopefully not.Yellow color is great. Heel padding is nice although arch support would be even better.

Would not buy again. Narrow is not really narrow and shoe is very easily scuffed. Too expensive for the quality of the shoe.

I can’t wear heels anymore so these dressier flats are ideal for work. Unique design. I get a lot of compliments about these shoes. True to size and nice cushion, very comfortable.

The quality is very good and looks nice. I wear a size 8 1/2 wide. The fit was too tight. I had to return them and ordered a size 9 wide. The size 9 W, right shoe fit perfect. The left shoe was too big. It kept slipping off my foot when I walked. I was very disappointed. I wish one set would have worked out. It would be nice if they had a little arch support. My first time buying this brand. Probably will never attempt to purchase brand again. The service and ease of returning was excellent. My experience in the past ordering on line from different stores (not Amazon) they try to get rid of products that have issues (defects) when ordered online due to most people will not return for various reasons.
