Sam Edelman womens Felicia Classic Ballet Flat, Black Leather, 7.5 US

This is my 2nd pair of black Felicia flats. The first pair I bought on a whim from Bloomies because I had a coupon. Although these may cost an arm and a leg, I don't recommend settling for any other pair. I've bought flats from Aldo to Walmart to Target to Dolce Vita to others in Bloomingdales and Nordstrom and I can honestly say, nothing and i mean NOTHING fit like these. First of all, I've had foot surgery and foot issues for the past 2 years. These shoes, although flat, are so comfortable thanks to the padding inside and they're sooo soft that they mold to your toes and feet. My last pair I had for about 3 years before I destroyed them (I almost walked the sole off). I worked in NYC for about 1.5 years and they were my go-to shoes. I'd throw my heels in my purse and wore these during my commutes and walked about 3 miles a day in them and they were incredible. My only warning is when you get them, they're SNUG. They're so snug may seem too small, but with a little wear, they'll mold right to your foot. It took me a few months to finally cave and buy another pair but it was only after I tried about 11 different pairs and finally was like: nope, nothing beats my Felicias. I plan on buying more in different colors actually - they are just so perfect to wear with any outfit and they're amazing travel shoes. JUST BUY THEM ALREADY! Don't be cheap like me and miss out on your next favorite pair of shoes :)

I love love love love love these shoes. The first black leather pair shipped to me had tears in the leather. I sent them back and got an exchange started and they sent me another pair in two days. This pair is dang near perfect and I love them. I love these shoes so much that I have them in navy velvet and plan on getting more colors. On a side note, the first few times I wore the navy velvet, the blue dye came off on the tops of my feet and my heels. Easily can off in the shower :) If you're looking for quality and comfort, get Sam Edelman's Felicia. I'm telling you. The leather is like butter, footbed is like a cloud, sleek, perfect. They don't need breaking in either. I wore them straight out of the box. You will love them. Like walking on a marshmallow. I normally wear a 10-11 but mostly 11. The 11 fit perfect in store so thats what I got. Perfect!!!

I have loved these flats for years and adore how many colors they come in. They are not at all supportive so just know that going in but the look is great and the color on the nide is great for my skin tone.

Cute shoe. Much more comfortable than you would expect from a ballet flat. this is my 3rd pair. Previously bought the yellow snake print and beet red. I've alternating between pairs daily for the past few years and they have held out great. I don't have any regrets about buying these shoes.

I have had these shoes for a few weeks now and am really loving them. I purchased the saddle colour, which is a gorgeous shade of brown. They have a nice amount of padding in the bottom compared to other flats I have tried, so they are quite comfortable. They don't take long to wear in; the first time I wore them I had a bit of rubbing on one of my baby toes, but none in the heels (I usually get blisters when I wear new ballet flats).Based on other reviews I was unsure of which size to order, so I tried on my usual size 9 as well as a 9.5 in a local department store before ordering them from Amazon. I probably could have gone with either size, but I felt like the size 9 was just slightly too short and I could see the end of my toe poking up, so I decided to go up half a size to a 9.5. They feel ever so slightly too loose in the heels (my feet are a bit wide but I have narrower heels), but they haven't stretched too much and I haven't had any issues with them slipping off my heels while walking. If need be I could always wear an insole. Overall, they are exactly what I was looking for and I am quite satisfied with this purchase!

I had already bought this ballerina in brown/ velour, but this one is even better. The leather is high-quality and easy to keep nice, the shoe is amazingly comfortable and in spite of it being completely flat, my back does not hurt after walking for a while, and the lining and cushioning is superb. The perfect barefoot ballerina that looks great and fits even better. I hope for a dark-brown regular leather version in the future!

Update: I originally gave 4 stars but have to knock it down to 1 because of the poor quality. After wearing this shoe exactly 3 times, all indoor except for short trips from the parking lot to the building, the leather on the toes of both shoes have ripped. I had them for 3 days. What a waste of money.Original review: I really love this shoe. It's a nice basic flat, but it has cushion in the bed of the shoe making them comfortable to wear. I havent walked a distance in them, so I dont know how they hold up quality-wise, but I own several pairs of Sam Edelman shoes and quality has never been an issue.That being said, I am consistently a size 8 in all shoes, including all the Sam Edelman shoes I own (a pair of boots, a pair of flats, and a pair of heels). But I did have to order these in a size 8.5. The 8 was too tight and I knew it would hurt if I kept wearing them. 8.5 is just right. I'd recommend ordering a half size up.
