I am very pleased with the fit and comfort of these Softwalk Mary Jane shoes. The Grey color is pretty and is flattering for many outfits. I particularly enjoy wearing my shoes to Mass on Sundays. The leather is soft and does not bind. I also purchased this shoe in the dark red, which is really more of a maroon color.For years I wore 7 1/2 AA. My feet have changed through the years. Thankfully Amazon has free returns for Prime Members, so I was able to exchange and settled for a very comfortable size 8 B. They are not wide on me at all because Softwalk is a wellmade shoe. Hopefully Softwalk keeps their standards and quality high.
Look and quality great but too small.
Very comfortable, wide width shoes. My actual size is probably 5.5 WW, so the shoes are a little long. Because my heels are narrow compared to the rest of my foot, I don't want to go up to a WW. Also, the arches are in the right place in the size six. The strap helps keep the shoe on my foot, but I may need to add heel pads once the shoes stretch out a little.
I really loved this shoe, a nd I loved the way it pulled my foot tight across the toes. Unfortunately, the tightness led to a pinched nerve, and I had to get a cortisone shot to fix it. While cute and adorable, they fit tight across the toes and ball of the foot. Beware if you are prone to foot trouble.
Reviews said size up but I returned my first ones because they were too big.Usually only the most basic of shoes comes in narrow. These shoes are such a pretty color. The arch is ok, padding is sufficient, They don't slip on my heel. The strap is helpful for keeping them on my foot. Not my most comfortable shoe ( that would be sneakers) but they will work for me. This is the second pair I have purchased in this shoe because fit was acceptable, the color irresistible, and the price unbeatable
I like this shoe. Unfortunately I ordered my size and I have very narrow long feet 11N and these shoes felt too tight and too small. That never happens to me! Because the padding looks like it would support my feet if they fit. I sized up tona 12n and Im praying they fit more to my size. Like others have said it is hard to find narrow and long shoes and these do look like they could be comfy so keeping my fingers crossed!
My daughter wears a XW but has a hard time finding shoes that look ok for a kid. These are perfect and the cross straps help keep the shoe in place instead of sliding to the side as many wide shoes do. Nice leather material and durable enough for a kid to wear them and not destroy them in one week. Very happy.
Since I have flat feet, i should not have ordered this shoe, too many years in walking shoes, but these shoes are so pretty and comfortable looking.
