This is a very nice, good quality shoe. I ordered a 8.5 2W, my usual size, in the aqua color. The width was good for my wide foot but the shoe seems to be too long. My heels slide out of the back of the shoe making it difficult to walk. I really like these shoes and I'd like to keep them but I think I must return them. I would exchange for a smaller size, but the bargain pricing I got applies only to the 8.5 2W size.
I had been given a pair of these shoes as a gift. I couldn't even get my toes in the shoe; they were size 6.5 (regular width). I read the reviews and ordered a 6.5 extra wide, and these fit, but they also seemed a bit long, so I fitted them with elastic across the opening, and now they fit and don't slip. It is a very comfy shoe.
Too narrow at the base of my toes and a little short. I liked the shoes otherwise. I would reorder but they are charging me to return them. I am not happy! I THINK a half size bigger might fit me, but I’m afraid to try now since they charge for returns. Plus they never even gave me the option to exchange the shoe...
Such a soft and squishy shoe! The soles of my feet enjoyed walking on the little clouds all day. I have a wide toe area, meaning my toes all like to man spread and not angle in all dainty like, and this shoe gave all my lil piggies room! Now the rest of my foot tends to be narrower than the norm and I could feel the heel slip up and down just a bit when I walk. Less noticable on the second day I wore them. Quality is nice, I like the perforations in the leather that also provides air circulation, nice for Texas weather.
I took a chance on these because they were marked down, and now I'm going to order another color.The toe box runs a bit small, which works for my foot but not my daughter who wears the same size shoe but has a different foot shape than I do. Sometimes, we can wear the same shoes, and sometimes we cannot. These are plenty long for her, but the toe box squishes the top of her foot. For me, the toe box fits exactly perfect, but the heel slips a little because I have a narrow heel. Because of the perfect fit everywhere else, I have no problem staying in this shoe.The footbed is very padded, which is why some of the reviewers say that it's like walking on clouds. I would compare the feel of the footbed to a nice pair of slippers. It has a moderate level of support but is nowhere near orthotic level. This shoe is more about comfort than support.The leather appears to be high quality, genuine leather that should hold up for years.The heel is not zero drop but is very close to zero. Without measuring I would guess that the heel is probably a quarter inch or maybe a little less. It is not a separate heel, rather it is a continuous rubber sole with a slightly thicker sole under the heel.
These are lovely, but ran very small. I consistently wear a Softwalk 11 Narrow. But could barely fit into these.
I had to get a Wide for the first time in my life! But once I did, it was so comfortable, I ordered it in another color.
Shoe had good arch support however the shoe was very narrow across the toe area
