I'm a healthcare professional that's literally on my feet 12 hours a day and this is just the best shoe ever! This fits a little small -- but I knew it off the bat as this is my 3rd SpringStep. The other 2 I bought in the mall.So make sure you order a size up. Im usually an 8 and i ordered a 9 and it fits perfect!Great support. Unlike my Dansko, this is light-weight and does NOT hurt the top of my foot as the day progresses. Very sturdy. Great material and craftsmanship. Best cushioning. I have fasciitis so need one that does not hurt my heel better. The moment my heel laid on them, it was in-love. And cushion lasted forever. Not one of those that feels good just on the first few days; it stays that way day in and day out for a loooong time. The fact that its sooo pretty & I get compliments on them all the time is just a great bonus.Like to commend the seller too. Got my order in 3 days!
I have small feet, and these shoes are so comfortable for me.
Love the look of the shoes but the size is very different from an older pair of the same brand and style I purchased years ago. They fit but very snug! Otherwise I’m very satisfied!
I adore the color of these shoes and have always wanted a pair of red clogs. They just arrived in the mail and the shade and color definitely do not disappoint... scrumptious! The sizing is too small, however, so I'll have to return them for a larger pair. I followed the sizing chart when I placed my order but my 9.5 size feet were hanging off the back when I tried them on. There could be some adjusting of the US-European size chart in order. Also make a note, if you're wearing these clogs in the winter with thick wool socks that's going to make your foot even "fatter" so take that into account when you choose your size. For me, I originally ordered my standard shoe size (which proved too small in this clog) and I plan to wear these with thick socks so I'm going up two full sizes when I make my replacement order.Three years ago I bought a pair of Spring Step shoes that have lasted extremely well. I wear them all winter long and they are just now beginning to show some aging and weakening. The arch support is fine, but the balls of my feet tend to ache after a full day of wearing them. There is not much cushioning in the ball area. Other than that though, no complaints. I like Spring Step shoes and I am determined to order myself a pair of their splashy red clogs.**EDITED** 2/20/2016Just received my replacement pair of clogs and not only was the shipping extremely fast (2 days), the clogs fit GREAT! The included photo shows how much room I have on the back of the shoe now, as opposed to my heel hanging off the end. I'm wearing thin cotton socks in this photo so you can imagine that with a thicker, wool-type sock I'll fill this clog right to the heel and that gappy area over the bridge of my foot with fill in too. Going up two sizes worked perfectly for me.(And of course, now I'm reading all sorts of reviews here that say the same thing- "the Euro sizing is too small." How did I miss that the first time around?? They were right. Order way up!)
These shoes are adorable. They run a little small. I’m keeping them, but will wear them for short periods of time until they stretch a little.
I think the other women saying it runs small are in shoe-size denial or something. I ordered the same size I always get - my TRUE shoe size so I'm comfortable, and they fit absolutely perfectly. You slip them on, it's like you've been wearing them for months, absolutely no break-in time needed. They are almost as comfortable as slippers and don't have any weird spots or areas that rub you the wrong way. I have a thing with my heels (or maybe my head) that I get claustrophobic foot syndrome and it's very uncomfortable for my feet and they always end up hurting if I wear regular shoes, so I buy clogs or mules and I'm always so freakishly comfortable with that. Talk about easy on and off! Love the style and look, the color is spot on, haven't had them long enough to attest to the claims of fading. I didn't get a weird color - I got brown. But I love Spring Step shoes, they're IMHO the best.
I adore the look and style of these shoes! I am a nurse and received so many compliments daily! Comfort-wise, they seemed pretty ok, but not as much cushion in the sole as I would have imagined with a name like Spring Step. However, after just 1-2 weeks of wearing them, my feet began hurting. I refused to believe it was the shoes, but alas, after a whole month of wearing them, I saw one of my surgeons and he confirmed that I have pretty severe plantar fasciitis. I stopped wearing them and my symptoms are improving steadily. I am so disappointed! I know that everyone's feet are different, but if you are on your feet for 10+ hours a day, you may want to consider this. I wish there was a way that I could make them work for me. If anyone reading this has a solution, I'd love to read it!
These shoes are very well-made and fit really well, just the right amount of room in the toe box and just the right amount of length. [FYI - I normally wear a size 9/40, but I ordered the 9.5-10/41 per the vendor's recommendation.] There's a spongee padded, comfortable feeling for the soles of your feet. I could wear them immediately right out of the box. The design is unique and has a European-Nordic look that looks classy. There's a lot to like, but there's also two important problems, so I will be returning them. The 1st issue is the color "black" is more like a very dark chocolate, not a true deep black, so the shoes do not match my black socks or pants - they don'tclash, but they don't match either. The 2nd issue is the shoes are actually flats with no heel height at all. You would not think this from looking at the online photo. Flats might not be a problem for some, but for me I have an old ankle injury that requires that I wear shoes with some heel height (minimum 1.5 inches). All together I think these shoes would be great with jeans, but not for dress pants.
