So comfortable. I wish I could have kept them, but the color was different than expected and sizing ran too large. I would have ordered another pair, but size/color wasn’t available. Keeping my eye on this one - it’s the sort of shoe you want in every color.
Nice shoe with great arch support! I need wides and these are cute wide shoes! I usually wear 9wides in shoes like Vionics but these were too big. I am considering getting 8.5 but right now they are not Prime. Will watch to reorder! Would be nice if there were more colors in canvas- the other colors and materials are not appealing to me.
Bought an original pair in Blue which was sporty for the summer and received a lot of compliments on. Extremely comfortable which is why I bought a second pair in taupe now but the blue pair did not wear very well. Stretched out quickly and the material has worn out and deteriorated in spots like by the bunyan area (and mine does not stick out as some people's do). The comfort and the width is what got me to buy another pair, as well as the price because it is hard to find Trotters at $30. SO even if it lasts only four months or so, I should be good.
I am editing my review. After 3 days, I give up. These shoes just will NOT get any more comfortable, and my heel blisters have their own blisters now. The back just DIGS into my heel with every step. I have tried cushioning it with moleskin. I have bandaged my heels and padded them with lamb's wool but it's no good - I am in agony. It's a pity because they were cute looking shoes, but the pain is just awful. I have to return them.
I bought two pairs of these, one to have as a back up when I wear out the first, because they are wonderful. Comfortable as a slipper, great arch support, lightweight and neat looking. I wear them to work with narrow slacks.
This is my second Americana shoe style from Trotters and just like the first one it is so comfortable and fits perfectly.
