Trotter shoes typically slip on my narrow ankles. Because of the cross banding at the top of this shoe, it solves my issue. These shoes are great. Very comfortable. The color goes with anything. I can wear them when I am in business attire, or wear them with a pair of jeans.
I have tiny feet, so finding a size 5 that fits can be difficult. More taupe then grey, but they fit perfectly. A little stiff in the back of the heel, so will need a little breaking in. I wouldn’t do any serious walking in these without a bandage on my heel (at least until they’re fully broken in). Great for office wear. May not work well on wider feet. My feet run on the narrow side.
These were a little snug for my fat foot, but they are wearing well and becoming more loose. Great purchase!

I've worn only medium width shoes for decades, and there is no way this shoe is a medium. It is so narrow that I couldn't even get my foot into it comfortably. Very disappointing. Buyer, beware of this one.
