A cushioned footbed, rounded toe, and demi-wedge heel make a sophisticated combination for everyday wear. From its very beginning in 1935, Trotters has been dedicated to creating high-quality women's footwear with appealing looks and exceptional comfort. The unique comfort of Trotters begins with a careful choice of materials: the softest leathers, high-tech cushioning, and flexible soles. And unlike many companies, Trotter's develops a separate last (the form around which the leather is shaped) for each size and width. So every pair feels like it was made just for you. With over 60 different sizes to choose from in most shoes, Trotter's promises you the largest selection of sizes and widths for even the hardest to fit foot. From work to the weekend and everything in between, Trotters brings you exceptional quality and comfort in every pair of shoes designed.

I bought these shoes for my daughter's outside wedding after an exhaustive search of both local stores and the web. Plain white pumps are virtually impossible to find. Additionally I needed a dressy shoe that I could wear walking through a field. This low wedge pump is perfect for the job. Having a wide foot and narrow heel makes me difficult to fit. These shoes are a bit long for me, but the width is just right. Although I spent more than I intended to, I will be sending back a cheaper pair of shoes that I also ordered because they were not nearly as comfortable or attractive.
This is my fifth pair of Lauren Dress Wedges. My first pair was bought in 2013 to wear when the dancing began, after starting the evening of my daughter's formal wedding in 3-inch high heels. I have literally worn that pair and another pair of black ones. They are true to my 10.5 N size (a difficult size to find); they are comfortable from the first time wearing them; they are pretty, and can be casual or more formal. I LOVE these shoes. I am so delighted that they are still available!
I had to return these shoes - I ordered a 9W based on other reviews noting they ran small. Normally I wear 8.5W however with the 9W the back of the shoe extended beyond my achilles heel about 1/2 inch. They flew off my feet on the second step if I tried walking in them. The width seemed ok. They seemed to be nice shoes with lots of padding in the sole. Also I ordered Dark Brown which appears textured in the photo, however they were smooth leather even though the name on the box they came in matched the color I ordered. I ordered an 8W in a different color to replace and will review those when they come. I gave 3 for nice shoe but poor sizing. POST PREVIEW EDIT: size 8W are perfect and very comfortable. So, in my experience these shoes run LARGE, not small. Ordering 1/2 size small was good for me.
I am a 9N and found the 9 too long my heel fell out of the shoe. I find it frustrating because they make the toe box very narrow and don't make the heel any narrower. I exchanged the shoe for an 8.5 M. The length fits better and the toe box is narrow enough. This suggests to me that the shoe runs narrow. I have not worn them other than in the house for a couple of hours because I want to make sure my heel doesn't pop out after some time of wear. There is a little rubbing up near where the shoe starts near base of my toe. These shoes have nice support and if the fit is right I 'm sure they will be good for a whole day of wearing. I bought a similar style Trotters "lansing wedge pump" and that shoe is little more cushy for all day use (a little less dressy) because it has a rubber bottom. Strange and annoying is that the trotter's lansing-the 9 is a little short. It would be so helpful if the sizing was consistent. Either ways good value for these shoes.
Love this shoe. It looks great and is very comfortable. There really was no "break in" period. Wore them for several hours when received and no issues with them at all. Highly recommend.
These shoes normally sell for around $100. I was lucky enough to find several colors in prices ranging from about $32 to $40. Since I was buying shoes for a couple of friends (in addition to for myself) I figure I got lucky. (Also spent many hours looking. It paid off.) I was surprised by how well these fix. They are comfortable, stable, cute & well worth what I paid for them. I need extra wide, stable shoes (since I've had serious back injuries in past.) I suspect women who are looking for comfortable, hard to fit, cute shoes will like these a lot. Older women (and those avoiding spike heels) will find these dressy and safe to wear.
I went up 1/2 size because I need wide width and this didn’t come in that width. Now they are too long, heel slips out. Disappointed.
These are my new favorite shoes. They're really comfortable -- the support is great, and the heel is stable -- and I just love the herringbone texture. I find that they run slightly small, though. I normally wear a 6.5W (including in other Trotters shoes) and these are just slightly smaller than I'd like. I'm still keeping them, though; the next size up was too big. If you're between sizes, I'd suggest ordering the larger size.
