Comfortable from the first time I put them on and great looking too. I forgot trotters could make such a good shoe. I bought another style in blue!
These shoes came up when I searched 'ORTHOTIC.' They are very cushioned with medium contouring at the arch, a light depression that cups the heel. That being said, I could tell from the picture that they weren't quite as 'ORTHOTIC' as a larger woman, like myself, would need. But they were sooo pretty, with the slight pastel, iridescent accent on the straps. (That reminded me of my grandaughter's unicorn collection.) They are exactly as anticipated, cushiony and supportive enough for a brief outing to church, or dinner with friends. But I caution you, I wouldn't recommend them for long walks or standing on your feet for extended periods -unless you're younger or thinner then I am. (Of course much of the world is.☺) I am happy with my purchase, they are really pretty on my foot. But, removed 1* because they are more 'ORTHOTIC ADJACENT'. Not the work horse you need, in a true orthotic.
They are a full one size too large.
The sandals are very cute; however, the narrow was not at all narrow- it fit the same as a medium-width. I adjusted the top strap (velcro) to the minimum width and there was still a 2-finger gap between it and my foot. I re-ordered a 1/2 size smaller (still narrow width) and it was only marginally better. Had to return both. Too bad because they are very cute.
Great fit for my long, narrow feet and high arches!! And there is NO irritating stitching on the footbed. Great purchase.
