VANELi Women's Fc-313 Dress Flat,Navy,4.5 M US

I read all the reviews about this shoe fitting small, but I took a chance and ordered my regular size, 8M. The fit is fine. I may have gotten a good fit because I am actually in between sizes 7.5 and 8. If I had sized up to 8.5 I think I would have had heel slippage. Also, different colors may have a different fit, as I've learned from experience. I ordered the black nappa. The leather is soft and comfortable. I've always liked this Vaneli style because it gives more coverage on the top of the foot than most flats. The current style for flat shoes seems to be making the top toe area so small that you get toe cleavage showing, and the shoe doesn't stay on very well. This Vaneli shoe stays on easily and doesn't gap very much when I walk.

It runs narrow. I am medium width but had to exchange it for wide width. Now they feet perfectly.

I normally wear a size 10, but seeing that the this was a flat, I rationalized I’d need a half size larger. The leather is SO supple that I now have to wear double pads in them to keep them from flopping off my feet. Didn’t want to return them as the process would have been too drawn-out, and I needed the shoe for its color immediately.

Classic, versatile, flat shoe goes with pants, suits, skirts. They've been my go-to shoes for several years. I've actually worn out the soles on the previous 2 pairs which I don't think I've ever done with shoes before. These shoes pretty much mold to your foot, and there's enough leather in the toe box that they will stay on your feet when you walk. This is one of the few flats that fit my feet well as I have low arches and many flats will gap on the sides or fit funny, but not these. I noticed a slight decrease in comfort between pair #1, which I bought maybe 6 or 7 years ago, and pair #2, which I bought maybe 3 or 4 years ago due to a little less interior padding. Also I think probably the soles are a bit less rugged than some, but the top part of the shoe is pretty durable. These run a little bit tight but not enough for me to get a bigger size. Amazon price was much better than retail.

A few weeks ago, from Amazon, I ordered the navy pair in 10.5 narrow and it is a little short in the last. This current black pair, from Amazon, is short in the last and is probably a pirated version of the original VanEli flat, or culls, or factory rejects. This black pair fades onto the foot after wearing for a short period of time. A couple of years ago I purchased a black patent toe and a white pair from Marmi, a legitimate website for VanEli. Even though one pair of "the real thing" is 135.00 plus tax and shipping, they are a better deal and fit perfectly unlike these two pairs purchased at different times in the past few weeks from Amazon. Amazon is a great website, but not for VanEli shoes!

Upon returning from death Ed found heap in heaven must have healed these as foot grew, and thank heavens able to replace my favorites, at least one pair at a time, Thank you Vaneli, for thinking of us now 12S, sad to see current catalogs dont show 12S, the narrows are still a bit to wide, Vaneli are you there, any leftovers contact-Thanks! And people in need of shoes-this company does not get any better if you are looking for comfort for your feet, and beautiful style as well

I was aware of these shoes being very narrow. I wear a 9 N in most flats, but this shoe was so tight that it was painful. My right foot is shorter than my left foot and had to put a heel guard in but that still didn't help the fit of the shoe. I tried 3 different sizes in this shoe and none of them fit. Very disappointed.
