Vince Camuto had moved out of the Philippine market. So the only way I could purchase VC is through Amazon. With Amazon’s free shipping to the Philippines , this pair of sandals which is also on sale is so worth buying.
I was looking for brown sandals to wear with sundresses and dress pants. These shoes fit the bill and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. I wear a 9.5 and the shoes definitely fit true to size for me.Taking away one star because I could feel the gold studs surrounding the bottom of the shoes pricking the soles of my feet. I wouldn’t recommend wearing these while walking for long distances. I hope this helps!
I liked the look of the sandals and I think they would be fine for people with a normal instep. The upper strap prevented my toes from reaching under the lower strap. Stretching would not have worked. The upper strat was too close to the heel.
Appears to be made with quality material and possibly even as comfortable as others have said but they run small and sadly I have to return them.
I had my heart set on some slides with studs and had bought some spendy ones, but they felt too uncomfortable and slippery to wear. This Vince Camuto Palennie Puffy Flat Sandal caught my eye given the small stud detail around the rim. These aren’t as edgy as what I had in mind, but these are feminine, pretty, and the small studs add a nice detail.I bought the black color and loved them so much I’ve purchased the orchid color. The label indicates the uppers are real Nappa leather leather and the soles are man made. I’m not sure if the strap lining is also Nappa leather, but it looks and feels like leather or a good imitation as they feel soft against my feet and don’t have a plasticky look or feel.These instantly felt soft and comfortable and don’t have a stiff feeling to them at all. The straps are flexible and padded with foam, and I’ve had no break in period, rubbing or blisters. I can easily walk in these without any issue. They feel secure and aren’t slippery. That’s important to me, especially because I have a bad back and don’t have the best balance.These fit me true to size. I wear a size 10 open sandal or slide with a medium width, and the size 10 feels just right. My left foot is bigger, so these are just long enough for me (which is normal for me). I personally like that my feet fill out the whole length of the shoes, but that’s a matter of preference. The straps hit me in just the right place visually and also for comfort. I have a normal arch, not flat or high.These slides are a medium width. I have only a little extra width at the first strap and my feet do go forward all the way into the slides correctly. I doubt these will fit wide feet, though the leather is soft and will likely stretch some over time (can’t yet how much yet). I’m posting a quick snapshot to show the fit. Please excuse my nails as they’re overdue. Love these slides and think they’re an amazing value at around $35. 5 stars. Made in Brazil.
