I was looking for a comfy sight-seeing shoe for an upcoming overseas trip that could do double-duty as a stylish dress shoe for dinner in the evenings, which I know is a tall order. While the trip is still several weeks away, I've already taken my new Wolky "Jewel" sandals for several multi-mile test strolls around town; worn them on a work assignment that involved several hours of standing; and paired them with cropped pants for a friend's party. They performed like a champ on all counts. They're incredibly comfortable, offer excellent support, and despite the thick sole, they're really light. I have wide feet and generally wear a 7 1/2 to 8 shoe. I ordered the 39 and they fit perfectly. As other reviewers have pointed out, the shoes can be easily adjusted using the three Velcro fasteners. I opted for the color Wolky calls "black caviar," because I wanted something more interesting than basic black. The pattern has a subtle pewter sheen that isn't obvious in photos and I'm finding they go with almost everything. Definitely a great purchase!

I have worn this style of shoes for 20 years. They are comfortable and supportive. Great for my plantar fasciiitis and great for walking!

I have four other pairs; that should say what I think about the Jewel by Wolky. I discovered them nearly 10 years ago and I still have the first pair I ever bought. People stop me and ask where I bought them. No kidding aside, even my orthopedic doctor asked me because she was so impressed. Because the bottom is so thick, they have incredible support and keep my foot safe from rocks, etc. Besides I look taller. This shoe is durable and fashionable, a great combination! They come in a zillion or so colors. They are worth the price.

These Wolky Jewels didn't work out for me, but it could just be my feet.I wear a size 5, and my feet are wide in the front, and have high arches. Since my mid-20s, I've had really bad pain in the balls of my feet and in the arches, once I really get walking, a mile or longer. I've been searching for comfortable sandals for traveling around Europe.I wasn't able to get the ankle strap to be tight enough against the backs of my ankles, so these felt too loose. The rest was perfect, fit-wise.The footbeds on these were *extremely* comfortable, like a dream come true! Sadly the strap adjustment didn't work for me. But I can see that these shoes might be a life-saver for someone else.

Love the style, the sole and bottom of shoe. would have been happier if I could find it on sale, that was the most I have ever paid for a wolky sandal!!!

I love these shoes. They look good with skirts and pants. Unfortunately I am unable to wear them at this time because of a foot injury. The adjustable straps and removable insole are wonderful. The only problem I have found is the sizing can be confusing. I wear a 6.5 - 7 shoe and I always get a size 37. Sometimes a 37 will be listed as a 5.5-6 or a 7-7.5. I have several pairs and I always order a size 37 no matter what the chart says. I purchased a 38 and had to return them. I hope this is helpful to anyone looking for a wonderful shoe. Also, I have a very wide foot and the 3 adjustable straps help with that.

They are the most comfortable saddles I've worn.
