I own a few pair of Skechers shoes and I have always been a huge fan of them. These golf shoes are no exception!It was finally time to purchase some new golf shoes, especially since I had literally walked the soles off of the last pair I had. Seriously, I'm on the 13th hole when the sole of my right shoe started flapping. I had to put some tape around it just so I could finish the round. And by the time I was done the left shoe was falling apart as well. It was almost like a vaudeville comedy sketch! But I digress....Because I had purchased Skechers shoes before, I thought I would try out their golf shoes. Straight out of the box they were a perfect fit. I ordered these in my standard size of 11 Wide and they were perfect. They were comfortable like I had already broken them in. And they probably weigh less than half as much as my previous golf shoes.As you can see in the photos, they are very stylish, they have the little 'cleat' nubs throughout the sole of the shoe and they are very well cushioned in the heel.If you've ever worn Skechers shoes...you already know how comfortable they are. Wearing them all day long isn't an issue. And Skechers shoes really hold up well over time, from what I have experienced.Whether you play a little or a lot...I believe that these shoes will make every round that much better because of how comfortable the shoes are.
I have several pair of Skechers slip-ons and have really liked the comfort and fit. A friend purchased a pair of their golf shoes and he recommended them to me. So I purchased a pair. These are on the low end of Skechers' price points but there is no loss of quality. The shoes grip well and provide good support while walking the course. They're stylish and easy to keep clean.I would suggest that you purchase a pair about 1/2 size larger than you normally would with Skechers because they run just a shade smaller than some of their other casual shoes.Overall, however, these are a winner.
First size slightly small so had to go up a half size. Extremely comfortable. Easily walk all 18 even with Sciatica.... no flare ups with these on. Water resistance seem good but haven't had to slosh around too much in them. Sketchers walking shoes never impressed me, but these do. Could walk all day in them, very light too., and look great.
Just played my first round with these shoes. They fit as expected. They feel great! Just like a tennis shoe. I was curious how the spike system would work. I am a better player (about a 6 handicap). I have a pretty quick swing speed and often, my right foot will slip. I didn’t lose traction once in the round. After the round, I checked the wear. There is little to no wear of the spikes. Although I didn’t get them wet, it is obvious that the toe and heal section would be water resistant. The upper part of the shoe is fabric and breathes well. Just don’t step in any deep puddles and you will be fine. I will definitely buy these shoes again, given that they don’t blow apart in the next few rounds.
Bought these because I like their tennis shoes. First golf shoe of this type I have ever bought. They are comfortable.
I have another pair of these in a different color and material. They are so comfortable that when I saw these at the incredible low price I paid, I immediately ordered them. These are the most comfortable golf shoes I can ever recall wearing. They are so light weight, it feels like wearing house slippers (an old comfortable pair). The spikeless system is excellent - better than other spikeless shoes I own. My only concern is whether there will be a wear issue in the future, but at the cost of these ... not a huge concern. Unless you simply don't like spikeless golf shoes (I cannot imagine ever going back to even soft spikes), I cannot recommend any higher. I have not really tested the water resistance of these, but I have other shoes that are fully waterproof. I am a firm Skechers fan for all my footwear.
have worn these for 3 rounds now and i can say they are extremely comfortable. i walked 18 and tired feet never crossed my mind. They legitimately are some of the most comfortable shoes I have owned not just golf shoes any shoeOne note I have wide feet and ordered the wides. They are actually almost too wide so i probably could have ordered the normal size and would be fine but overall these are a big upgrade from the Nike's i had previous.Also people have gave me compliments on the look. Very stylish i got the grey and blue ones.Update: these are terrible on a soggy course the mesh does not prevent water getting through and u will be playing with wet soggy socks. If u can only wear these on a dry course.
