This kind of shoes are very comfortable for work.
Love them but they are too expensive $70 I think that's too much for these kitchen shoes $40 would be a fair price but they are good quality though not the best comfortable shoes. They worn out in 4 months because I use them too much on a wet kitchen floor at work if it wasn't for the wet floor it will last a long time.
I’m the kitchen manager at a very busy restaurant. I love these shoes. Got my second pair in February. They are very comfortable and don’t stain. Lots of oil drips on these things and they wipe clean. Only reason they aren’t 5 stars is because they are really hard to put on and take off cos they are a little narrow around the ankle ball. I was lazy with the first pair and would use the opposite foot to kick the shoe off and the bottom eventually ripped off. I can see the same thing happening again but oh well. 40 bucks on sale during the holiday season and they last a year so I’m happy. Plus they look somewhat normal not like a typical old person shoe disguised as non slip kitchen ware.
These fit great, comfortable, easy to break in, and completely non-slip. Perfect for kitchen work. However, they are falling apart already. After about three months of wear they are disintegrating in the same place on each shoe. The area where the ball of the foot starts, on the inside of the foot. Not sure I will repurchase if they need to be replaced so soon after use.
I have now had 3 pairs of these shoes and have liked them all. I love the high top for more ankle support and they wear well while in the kitchen.
Theses shoes started off very promising. The insoles where very comfortable. I noticed they where very light, which I thought was by design so your feet do not fatigue. But I quickly noticed that they are light because they are cheaply made. The sole of the shoe is already coming undone. They are chef shoes so should be built to last at least 6 months. I normally change my shoes every 8-12 months so the tread is always new and safe. But these shoes could not even make it three months. I would not recommend this product to anyone that works in the restaurant industry. They simply do not stand up to the demand of a chef.
So far so good. Pretty light. I was taking my Nikes to work and they were horrible for the job. My feet hurt for like two days. These ones however are super light and very comfortable. Good on the first day.. I would recommend buying somesort of silicone spray just to keep water out of them.=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=_=UPDATE 5 months laterI received these 5 months ago and used them quite a lot. I work on the frier and spilled hot oil on them the first week. I thought they were going to rip apart because of it but they are still holding. The insole has little cushion left but it's understandable for 6 hour shifts.I would definitely keep these in mind when in need of a new pair of restaurant shoes.
Saxi Abebi here, I don't really want to start a trend here but these are really cool. A cross between a basketball high top a dress shoe and a motorcycle boot! Don't buy if you don't want to look cool! Saxi Abebi. Now send me money for the endorsement!
