I was looking for a comfortable shoe to usher in on Sundays at church. I purchased them in white a few years ago. I needed them in black because they are the most comfortable shoe to wear for more than two hours if necessary. They were finally available in black for an even greater price on sale. Number 1 in my book!
Seriously the BEST nursing shoes you can buy! My mom has been using these for over 20 years so if that isn't testament then I don't know what is! I'm a CNA who at least does 5-8 miles of walking in a 8hr shift and my feet feel great after! No crying or complaining like my fellow coworkers who wear nikes(roshe) that I normally see in the nursing workforce. If a patient voids(ie. urinate/BM) I know my feet are protected and these shoes cam wipe clean easily with clorox wipes. I buy a pair every year (they probably can last longer) but any foot doctor recommends you change out ur work shoes every 6-12 months. I work 5x per week so these get plenty of wear within the year! I've had most of the colors but don't advise the patent(shiny) leather because they do after awhile rip at the bend of the foot. Other than that these are great overall shoes that are lightweight and easy to clean! What's not to LOVE!PS: These shoes periodically go on sale throughout the year so always keep these in your wishlist!
I had these shoes since August. I worn them for nursing school and they are easy to slip on! They are comfortable until around 5 hours of working, which is when the bottoms of my feet and my toes start to hurt. Perhaps it is because I'm on my feet all day, but I find the insoles to be uncomfortable. The shoes fit exactly to my size. I feel that if I add a different insole then it could get tight in the shoes. When it was first shipped to me, I noticed one shoe was more wrinkled than the other -- over time, both became wrinkled. The shoes are easy to clean and can feel a bit heavy to wear at first. Also, when I first wore them, they were a bit tight -- took a few days for it to loosen up. I think the shoes are overpriced for its quality. They aren't amazing shoes, but they'll suffice throughout nursing school.I purchased the black size 8 b(m). I would not recommend buying these shoes for work, your feet will still hurt by the end of the day.
I like the shoes and think they are of high quality and a great price. My concern is how tight they are while putting them on. When purchases shoes I do not buy a wide shoe so I thought this was the correct size I purchased. They are actually very comfortable while I am standing or walking. When putting the shoes on they are tight and I actually have to put my stockings on loose around my toes because as I slide my foot in the shoe it very tight and pulls my stocking back. While sitting I have to keep my ankles straight are they become to tight around my ankles.
I bought this shoe for a job where I was on concrete floors all day with plantar fasciitis. Not only did these shoes alleviate my pain, they are an easy, painless slip-on that fit every occasion and dress code. A great, cushioned shoe that has taken quite a beating and stood up well.
These are probably the most comfortable work shoes I have found. I ordered this shoe probably 3-4 years ago and wear them all the time. As a college professor, I'm on my feet a lot and these shoes really make a difference. The first pair look almost new; no problems with the heel wearing down because of the way it is designed. The new pair will feel too tight when you first put it on but it doesn't take long for it to stretch just enough to feel comfortable and it won't slip on your heel. The first pair still looks and feels great but I wanted the second pair to wear on alternate days as it's not good to wear shoes daily. They need time to breathe in between.I'll keep coming back for more of these shoes!
I can't believe I tortured my feet with these for a whole month before giving up. I read so many great reviews. I received them in the mail and had sore feet after a couple days. I read that many people required a "break-in" period with these, so I stuck with it. Discouraged by my sore feet, I bought insoles. Several of the other reviews also mention how these shoes are extremely uncomfortable without insoles, so I thought that may solve the problem. Nope, still sore. They didn't break in, they didn't provide any insulation from the hard floor, and the tops rub uncomfortably against the top of my toes, leaving blisters. One month was long enough for me to throw in the towel. Overall, I paid $75 for these, plus $25 for the insoles to fix them, and I still regret wearing them for over a week. Don't waste your money.
I have been looking for a shoe that has a reasonable price along with comfort. My feet are very stubborn. I work at a hotel front desk and needed something because my Sketchers were wearing down pretty bad. These aren't comfortable on my feet, but they see the most comfortable pair I've ever had on my feet. I'm flat footed, I had a bunionectomy done, and they still hurt. These shoes at least help with the pain while I'm standing at work. And I love that they're slip-ons. I usually end up having my shoes tied, but slipping them on anyway. The only thing that I would suggest, for people with feet as bad as mine or worse, is to order a half or a full size up. I ordered a 9.5 and normally wear a 9. They were a little tight at first, but I feel like they eventually stretch out.
