I’ve only worn these shoes for a day but I’m so excited about them I have to review them. I work in a vet clinic and these shoes are perfect for anyone else working with animals. I’ll start with the basics-yes they’re waterproof and slip resistant, they have memory foam...more or less your basic work shoes....but with dogs!!!! I don’t know about you, but I was sold on that alone. Here’s some other things worth noting-the toe area is roomy which is great because after 10 hour shifts my feet swell and that extra bit of space is much appreciated. Another thing worth noting is that fur doesn’t stick to these, either!!! And, the memory foam cushion can be removed so if you want to swap it out for another insole or wash it or whatever you have that option. The toe and heel also have clear rubber on them, I’m assuming to help protect the shoes from wear. I’m not fully certain of the benefit but it’s there. Now, there is one bad thing I have to say about these. They are VERY stiff. The tongue put a little bit pressure on the top of my ankle all day, but I didn’t get any blisters or discomfort it’s just something that’s there, there’s enough cushion that is isn’t bothersome and I didn’t notice any rubbing or pressure in the back which is good. But just be aware that this could be uncomfortable for some people so you may want to wear some thick socks and take some heat to them to soften them up a bit before wearing for a full day and make sure you have socks that cover any exposed bit of skin that may rub until they’re more broken in.Overall, great shoes!! Get yourself a pair!!!!!
These are cute, especially if you like retro type sneakers. Very comfortable and fits well.
I work in a restaurant and will rate these for kitchen use.ComfortThe stiff upper is uncomfortable but may get better if it breaks in well. The insole is the real reason why I gave this shoe a 4-star rating. The memory foam insole is bouncy and the best thing that's happened to my heels in a restaurant kitchen. If only the upper was a bit more flexible and thinner I would have been happier. The upper is so stiff I have trouble getting my foot in the darn shoe. 4 out of 5 on comfort thanks to the insoles.SafetyI did slip once in the first week of owning the shoe but I did not fall. Granted it was in a very dimly lit restaurant dining room at night time and I didn't see any spills so I didn't walk cautiously. I didn't fall despite the amount of sliding I did. I was pretty surprised to be standing so I think they held up pretty well. 4 out of 5 on safety since it did keep me from falling but not from slipping.AppealI bought the light blue shoes which don't really go with kitchen clothes but the price was cheaper. They still look better than clogs, crocs, and "sneaker" type kitchen shoes. Food items haven't seemed to ruin the appearance of it. Well, not yet anyway. I haven't dropped anything major on it yet. It has held up deflecting food bits pretty well so far though. As far as the rating goes they look exactly as pictured so 5 out of 5.These are my favorite shoes I've ever owned in my 6 years in restaurant kitchens. I still get foot and leg pain but that will happen after standing all day. The quality is excellent for the price.
I've purchased these from different places a few times. They are the ONLY shoe I will wear in my fast paced foodservice job. Comfortable insoles, lightweight, splash resistant, and slip resistant.I also have a hard time finding shoes that fit width wise properly, and these have a very wide toe box. They aren't super cooling or anything, but breathable enough especially considering that they repel some moisture from outside. They last a while before breaking down, I buy a pair every 7-9 months, working 40-60 hour weeks dealing with flour, oil, walking, cooking, etc.Watch the price, as they tend to go down to steep discounts from the regular price every so often.
Got them for my mother and she loves them
I thought they were a good fit even though they felt a bit snug. I loved the shoes and wanted them to fit! Finally recognizing the tighter and stiff toe box and the narrow width, I realized these were not going to work for me. The colors are spectacular though!
My sister loved them.
I'm obsessed with these shoes. I work at a doggy daycare and I get so many compliments from coworkers and customers for these bad boys. The non slip factor is also amazing. I've ran across wet floors on these with not any slippage. They do make a bit of a sticking noise when I walk on dry floors but totally worth it to not slip around. They are also SUPER comfortable. It's not uncommon for me to work 12 hours and my feet feel great.
