Tough shoes. Look good with jeans. Bottoms are thick and pretty stiff initially. Ordered these to have something to wear around working in the yard when mowing, mulching, planting, watering, etc. Took them on a 1.5 mile walk the first day I got them and they will definitely require some wear to break them in – they feel a little “clunky” when you first wear them, and I find them a little heavy… at least compared to other hiking type shoes I’ve owned. I also found the way the laces are configured make them a little tricky to pull tight… you need to work your way up from the bottom.I like that they will keep my feet dry when the grass is wet in the mornings or on rainy days. After they are broken in, I may try them on the trail too, but they need to be a little more flexible first. I wear a men’s 8.5 US and the 8.5 was the right size. I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars… 3 for how heavy and stiff they are, 4 for their functionality and look. I’ll assume they will get a little more flexible with some wear and rated them as 4.
I've had these shoes for a few weeks now and I like them as they seem to be tough and have very good traction. Initially they were a bit stiff and do need some break in time. The cushioning could be a little better and isn't as much as my Brooks running shoes, but it isn't enough to cause an issue. And these shoes are half the price of my Brooks. The color definitely stands out from my normal black, brown, gray, or white shoes. The shoes seem to breath well as I haven't experienced roasting my feet yet and we are into June already. The laces tie easily, don't slip, and haven't come undone. The materials seem to be holding up well so far, only time will tell.Overall I think they are a really good shoe for the all the usage I have put them through from just walking, to running around the yard with the kids, to working in them on all kinds of surfaces.
They look good. They are rugged. Well made. I wore them everyday for two weeks for 30 minutes of walking hoping to break them in. Instead, they broke me. Simply uncomfortable shoes. So stiff and the footbed just doesn't feel right at all. Shame...
Well made pair of outdoor shoes. Great deep sole and texture. Amazing “grip.” The yellow is very bright new. They take same time wearing in, very very stiff new. They are a little narrow, which will hopefully relax over time with stiffness.Sizing is about right! I wear a 9 1/2 to 10 mens (depends on the shoe) and on this order went with a 10 (better too big, over too small) and I do have a little extra space in front of toes.
Shoes themselves are great, highly functional! The color is a bit out there though. Maybe too vibrant.That being said the shoe fits great, and cinches down on my foot like a champ. Works great for on the trail running or even on a gravel road out in the country.The water resistance is superb and doesn’t give me mushy socks when I stride into a puddle.Really impressed with the new bass outdoor line of items. Just didn’t expect these to be soo brightly colored!
The shoes are sturdy, stiff and heavy. No sneaking around. I like the color. They look big, but just because they are a thick shoe. They fit as expected. They would be great for working in the yard on our hillside, but I like them too much to get them dirty just yet. I’ll wear them around town or for short hikes until they get dirty then I’ll work in them. It’s cool they can serve both purposes. They seem like they will last a long while.
I mainly got these because of the color, and they don't disappoint in terms of how they look. They are a little narrow for hiking shoes, but it's really more of an issue of putting them on than overall comfort. They could use a little more cushioning, and I would say these are definitely meant for trail hiking or some other softer surface. Great traction though.
This product is a very strong pair of hiking sneakers, shoes, sneakers etc. They are an all around pair which has multiple uses such as walking, hiking or just plain doing errands. They are extremely we’ll made and super strong. The sole is super rugged and very strong. The sole looks like it will last for a very long time and it is thick. You definitely will not wear these out quickly. So far, so good. Liking this product! Recommended.
