I ordered these in a size up because I wanted to use these as slippers. I live in the PNW and wanted waterproof slippers I could use to run outside if I needed to quickly. I could not even get my foot in!
Quality, fit, look, everything was subpar. The fabric was just awful. I love Columbia products - my closet is full of them - but this is a complete miss.Recommend the Teva UnEmber instead. Better quality, fit, looks, etc.
Wow! I never wear anything barefoot! These- just got them so keep that in mind- are comfortable right out of the box. They have some 'sort' of arch support that you can feel when you step down. I have rather skinny calves and ankles so it did make me laugh that I chose the white; look like the marshmallow man on my feet! Doesn't bother me; I'm amused- since I don't at all care what people think- I'd laugh with them! These were on sale-size 8; $29! Nice support; no slippage at the heels! I'm just hoping I can walk in them without being too hot! The white is a bit concerning since I wash all of my sneakers and keep any white-white! I wanted Columbia because I got the minx shorty boot a while back and while they look flat; not sure what's inside because they are the BEST boots I've ever owned!The only con: a little odd to get on.. have to put the front of your foot in first- fit the top piece and then the back. So I wouldn't say they are easy to just slip on.. but I don't care-was looking for comfort and these sure are that! Sizing: I am a 7.5-8.5; depending. My right foot is a whole size bigger. I have very narrow heels and a wide toe box-these are perfect in an 8; since I plan to wear them without socks. And perfect to walk in- heels are fine-important! I highly, highly recommend these!
