I ordered usual size 7 but returned because they were too short. 7.5 fit perfectly. I tried them on a dog walk in wet grass and they were great at keeping my feet dry. I wore them on a very long plane ride and for a week in Africa during rainy season and found them comfortable and water resistant. I didn’t walk in puddles. When I got home I washed them in my washing machine and dried outside. Not sure if this impacts water resistance but they look fine.
Really liked the shoes good fit well made and confortable
I bought these shoes for a trip to Iceland that we will be taking shortly. I wanted nice looking shoes that would keep my feet dry in case we encountered some rainy days on tour. I have been wearing them around home before I go to make sure that they are comfortable enough to wear all day, and that they would keep my feet dry. So far, I am pleased. I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear, and I am glad that I did. The toe area is not as roomy as other shoes I have owned. But despite that, I find them to be comfortable to wear. It took a couple of days to break them in - they were a bit stiff to start out, but now are comfortable. I have been wearing them in the very wet grass while walking the dog, and my feet have stayed nice and dry. The shoes look very much like sneakers, which is what I wanted. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase
Sadly this pair of shoes is smaller than the last pair of Columbia shoes I purchased. Same size, not same fit. I loved loved my old pair: comfortable; lightweight; sturdy. This pair not so much. Couldn't even get comfort room by loosening the ties. Very disappointed
Love these shoes, so comfortable and great for hiking. Walked on a rocky wet trail and my feet stayed dry, the tread is awesome.
Tried them on and the upper material made noise every time you took a step, like plastic bags or rustling leaves. The tread was okay, and the red laces were nice. They LOOK great, but the man-materials they used just weren't good, made feet hot right away. Noisy, and not well-ventilated. Immediately returned.
Really like them and I usually have to break shoes in before they stop hurting from new, but these ones were comfortable from day one. Make sure you SIZE UP at least one size, maybe two. I had to return the first pair.
These shoes worked great for me in Alaska! From Seward, to Denali to Fairbanks and then to Copper Center.. I was everywhere in these and they did their job! I usually wear a 7 and I had to go to a 7.5 to wear them. 7's were too tight and small on me. They are so comfortable.
