Used for chronic Plantar Fasciitis.
This is my second pair of these. It took me seven years, lots of trail-running, hiking, and urban hikes on concrete to wear out the treads on the first pair. For the first six and half years, the traction is excellent. After five years I needed to replace the in-soles. They're waterproof (as long as the water doesn't enter from the top). So far my second pair is looking to be as well-made; I've had them 9 months so far. They are not an ultra-light trail runner. But they are sturdy and durable. The ultra-light shoes don't last nearly as long. Divide the price of these shoes by five (maybe you're harder on shoes than I am) and that's your cost per year.
Great pair of shoes. Excellent traction underneath. These will last me a long time.
After less than two months, the finger loop on the tongue has pulled out.Keens are comfortable, so I keep buying them, but I've never "worn them out." They always fall apart first, either at the stitching, or the soles separate.
The toe section is wide (typical of Keen) and comfortable - it doesn't compress my toe that has started to pain me in other shoes. I will probably order a second pair.
This is my fifth pair of Keens. Seem to last forever.
Very nice firm shoe that gives very good arch support
I like the Keen Targhee hiking shoe, but this lower-cut Voyageur version makes my feet sore after a long hike, particularily around the outside ankle. I'm going back to Targhee.
