I have been a big Keen fan for many years. These shoes are VERY stiff. I hope they will "soften" with time. They are not lighter than similar leather models.

However, they seemed to be fading especially on the toe. At one point I thought maybe they had picked up some dust that was making them look faded. I brushed them and it didn't change. I continue to wear them as they are so comfy and even just ordered another pair to put away and have once these are worn down. The difference in the color is amazing! What happened to the blue? Actually one shoe from the other is different!
