Loved the shoe. Color. Material. Style. A bit too narrow. Right foot bunionette. :(
This shoe is without a doubt the most comfortable hiking shoe I have ever worn. It also serves as an "around the town" shoe. For me, the shoe did not require any break-in period and fit extremely well. I really like that there is no tongue on the shoe - the upper is one piece - so it slips on quickly. The tread on the shoe is amazing and really grips rough surfaces. Two things I wish Keen would incorporate in the shoe are: longer shoe laces and a heel area pull loop.
I wanted to like these shoes as they looked great online. When I tried them on they were instantly uncomfortable: the forefoot was tight ( and I have fairly narrow feet). The heels were wide, so loose that my heels kept lifting out of them and I wasn’t impressed with the treads. These definitely didn’t appear to be designed for a women’s foot last. Sorry, but back they went.
Way too narrow. I buy Keen all of the time, these do not fit the same. Hot spot where bellows are. Very, very disappointed in these shoes.
I'm a BIG fan of Keens. I've worn them for years, and will continue to buy and wear them. I bought these specifically because I was visiting Costa Rica in the rainy season. They were comfortable and waterproof, however I found them to have almost no traction walking on any slick, wet surfaces. I slipped a number of times wearing them. The soles just aren't grippy at all, which is ironic given they're designed for wearing in wet situations. They're going back, unfortunately.
Nice shoe, looks well made and is good looking, too, and fit well, but too inflexible for my needs, way too bulky.
100000% happy with these!!! I don’t have good stores near me to try on a variety of waterproof hiking shoes. I knew I didn’t want boots- too heavy and rub on ankles and stuff. Used Prime wardrobe to order a few styles and I loved these. My Keens and my son’s Keens were waterproof the entire trip even in good puddles, mud, and 3mi of snow hiking.Comfy, lightweight, very sturdy toe area. I would buy more of these if I lived in a more rugged terrain but we live in FL and only so serious hikes on vacation!
Comfortable and versatile, and my orthotic fits perfectly. I never want to take these off or wear any other shoe! I have put miles and miles walking and hiking on these! And my feet are still so happy despite my plantar fascitis! Buying again! I wish i could have them as dressshoes!
