I have an upcoming trip to France that will involve city walking and also country locations so I needed one shoe that could do double duty. Something that wasn't a running or training shoe that could pair with slacks for a nicer event but could also handle rocky trails or other rough terrain. This shoe really delivers in both areas. It's dressier than a running shoe but built to handle off the pavement travel. Flexible in the front with a bit of stiffness in the midsole makes for great comfort and the grippy sole is ready for the trail. It was true to size and broke in nicely wearing it for a couple of days around town. The long lace pattern allows for customizing the fit for your foot. I highly recommend this shoe!
They provide great grip. They’re waterproof. They’re handsome. I can wear them all day at work or out and about. What’s not to love?!
I bought these two months ago in the “Canteen” color. They are very comfortable and after two months of almost everyday wear, they still look new. They go great with khakis or jeans and I’m about to order a pair in the grey.
I wear these almost daily at work. My office wear is outdoor casual and these look great with some Kuhl pants and a button down. I love being able to hit the trail or go for a quick fishing outing after work without changing shoes, while still looking sharp. It took me a long time to find an outdoorsy shoe wide enough for my feet, but these fit perfect in wide. Been 6 months since I bought them, and they have held up great, and are very comfortable. Only thing keeping them from hitting 5 stars is the lack of a tongue gusset. It's pretty unacceptable in this day and age to have a shoe with a tongue that lets in water/debris or slides left or right because it isn't gusseted. The tongue is always leaning off to the side which can get obnoxious.
Not amazing for comfort, but they hold up well
I am very pleased with the comfort, fit, and look of this shoe. My one complaint is that the tongue is a bit short almost to the point where the top layer of laces rests on your foot. The tongue needs to be an inch longer for greater comfort. There's not even enough material to grab a hold of to try and pull it up. That alone would make me think twice about re-ordering in the future.
These shoes are great and I will be buying a new pair once the other wears out. The grip is phenomenal
