These shoes are a replacement for a pair my husband had for 10 years. They are comfortable, have a generous toe box, and provide support when on his feet all day.
Very nice shoe. They appear very sturdy and robust.I shy away from shoes with looped eyelets (some cord that you lace the shoe versus holes in the sides the laces go through) as they are prone to breakage. Thankfully, these have dedicated lace holes to secure the lace to the shoe. The fit is comfortable, and the plush soles provide adequate support. Initially, I am not too fond of the way the toe end of the shoe flexes upward; my big toe feels strange, lifted off the ground like this. I am hoping that either the end of the shoe relaxes to a more comfortable flat state, or I get used to the flex, and it no longer bothers me. Either way not a show stopper, but something to consider.I bought two pair; one for summer (non-waterproof) and one for winter (waterproof). Durability is the only real question. Time will tell.
excellent pair of trekking shoes. They are firm, providing security to your walk on various terrains, I have tried it on loose stones, stones, wet grass both climbing and descending. The sole has good traction and my feet don't feel the hardness of the ground. I love them, I'm going to keep trying them and update this review. I have tried them, to give you an idea on a trekking route in the snow-capped La Veronica, Cusco Peru, at more than 4,000 meters above sea level. I was exhausted but my feet were fine ,)Price is not cheap but neither that expensive, great ratio price/performance.Would i buy it again next time? Yes!Level of Trekking: Something between Amateur - AdvancedWhat i dislike? I still looking for something. Really!
