My daughter usually wears a 9 in toddlers for sandals and a 10 toddlers for sneakers. The smallest size they had when I ordered was 10 toddler so I ordered them and hoped for the best. This is my daughters first ballet class, and I chose these because her teacher said leather and split sole were the best, and these seemed to have the best reviews for those two features in her size. The fit is perfect. They fit her just as I assume they should. She has about a half inch space up front so she has a little room for growth, but they are not loose and she said they were comfortable. She was really excited to wear them around the house for a few hours after they were delivered. The only thing I'm not sure about, and it could just be because I dont know any better or have experience but these have "pointy toes" and comes to a strong point. I always thought ballet shoes were more round in the toes? like I said, I dont know, this is my first time seeing/touching ballet shoes in person. They feel sturdy enough and all of the seams are strong and straight. They came in a bag kind of squished together, so you have to put them back in shape. not really that big of deal. they are soft and comfy.
I used to dance - not professionally, just for the activity - and when I found split sole shoes, I never looked back. They made my arch prettier, they were more comfortable, and I just loved them. So when my 4 year old wanted to take ballet, I wondered if they made them tiny - they do! I got her a pair of 8.5C - a guess on sizing - and they fit perfectly for about 6 months, until she outgrew them. We got her next pair locally, and they don't carry split sole for kids, so she has the traditional style. Planning ahead, I picked up a 10.5C here for when she outgrows the current pair. These are good shoes, and they have held up well through three classes a week and a kid who is tough on shoes. They also come with the elastic sewn on, which is nice. Ready-to-wear.
They are perfect. Idk if we got lucky but they a re true to size & they are flexible
Great ballet slippers! My four year old uses them every week for her ballet class, and they are easy for her to put on and take off. She says they are comfortable and easy to dance in, and so far they’ve held up beautifully. Her ballet school has a fairly strict traditional ballet uniform/dress code, and the shade of pink is perfect!
I love these shoes. They look great, they function well and they last well, and this is a great price for them. My daughter has a very narrow foot and finds that these fit better than other brands, even though some other brands do have narrow-fit shoes available.Unfortunately this pair were too large for my daughter and I had to go and purchase a whole size down - that is despite carefully measuring multiple times and also being reasonably familiar with the brand. I have no idea what size street shoe she is these days so not sure how it compares.
This is one of the shoes approved by the studio. She loves the split sole as it gives her more movement and allows for a more natural point of the foot. These are long lasting and our go to shoe!
These are the first split sole ballet shoes we've tried & they are great for my daughter's preschool ballet class. She wears a size 9 in street shoes & has narrow feet; I ordered a 10B & they fit perfectly, slightly snug for ballet dancing (which is recommended by her teachers). If you want room to grow though, I'd size up as hers will probably only fit for a few more months. These are also the perfect muted pink color & are pliable, not at all plastic-y like some other ballet shoes out there.
It was time to order the next size up for my little ballerina, and I was so happy to find a pair that fit her here. Her first "real" pair of dance shoes were Bloch, so that's what we keep going back to. I've tried others for her, but they make her feet hurt, and as much time as she spends dancing, we can't really afford that! So I stick to what works for her.
