I love these and wish more colors were offered in my size . Nice and simple new school minimalist campers
Had them for two weeks now... no issues... extremely comfortable. I was worried they may rub on the heel and/or ankle like some other shoes I have purchased. Not the case. I know they are more expensive, but I will be wearing them so frequently that it justifies the price. And they look great! The second color of laces are a nice option when you want to change things up. Most likely going to get a black pair as well.
I own a pair of similar Camper shoes for 3 years and recently decided to replace them. Amazon had a 20% offer on shoes and this model in stock so I ordered without hesitation. Shoes were shipped on time, but due to FedEx delivering to a wrong address (or so they say) they arrived 5 days late. In the meantime I contacted Amazon and they sent me replacement pair for free (which I will now return)! Shoes fit perfectly like and all other Camper shoes you can just start wearing them without having to deal with blisters a lot of other leather shoes will cause till they are worn in.Thank you Amazon for amazing customer service (not to mentio great price) and thank you Camper for making stylish and comfortable shoes one can wear everyday, for every occasion.
Purchased with no expectations, was massively surprised.Very comfortable, cab be work and moved around in for many many hours of the day, only gripe, need venting grommets for airflow.If you can get passed the funky Spanish style, you will be happy.
I've been wearing various minimalist shoes for several years now, and these fit in with the best of them. Their dressy enough to wear in a business casual environment and look great with khakis or jeans. Like other minimalist shoes they have a bit wider toebox and zero-drop from toe to heal, which is the whole point. The included insole works well for me with minimal arch support (but still a bit) ... and they appear to be very well made.It took a few days for the shoes to loose some of the stiffness, but wearing them all day at work (mostly standing/walking) wasn't uncomfortable, and they're great now a couple of weeks in. I wasn't sure about the stretch laces at first, but a quick pull towards the top tightens them up nicely and I tuck the end in under a lace. These also seem to fit true-to-size as the size 9 in these fits pretty much the same as other size 9 barefoot and minimal brands I wear. Would highly recommend
A friend of mine had the boot version which I wore out to a club one night. They looked cool and also allowed me to dance up a storm and pick up lots of hotties. No blisters the next day and my feet didn't smell cause they are all leather...double bonus. The sole and all identifying marks had been rubbed off long ago so I had no idea who made them. My mate was like "they are leather boots from spain"...WTF?? I needed to find a pair of shoes like these for myself. So after a lot of searching I found them on here...BOOM!...ordered...shipped...slapped on my feet as soon as they arrive...let me tell you...these shoes fit like a glove...easy to get on with the elastic laces and looks the goods. In fact I had a couple of chicks walk into street lamps when I walked past wearing these bad boys. I apologised for their injuries (but made sure I got their numbers).Advantages:- No more waiting in line at nightclubs- When I go for a job interview wearing these the boss gives me his resume!- Women want you...guys want to be youDisadvantages:- Other people can be as cool as you if they order them
First off, the color on the box was brown. Not honey. This is the second pair I've ordered because of a sizing issue. They fit way to large for me, I had to order a size down.The first pair, from another seller, came in the perfect color but fit to big, the second fit but aren't the right color. Where's my goldilocks!I'm okay (I can live with it) with the color and they come with another set of laces that may change my mind on color. I didn't order primarily for color, but for minimalist wear. Which they kind of stink at right now. The molded insole has a pretty thick heel. I ordered a new insole last night and hopefully these will be a better shoe after.I hear complaints about the heel, im not having that. But might with a new insole the heel is a hard cut of leather but leather gives in time so with a little sweat I dont anticipate big problems.Overall, I like the look even though it's wrong, I got them at a decent enough price to mod them out to my liking and make them minimal.I may come back and adjust this review if anticipation changes.Definitely, not an out of the box ready minimal shoe, but if you like a heel to toe drop with a decent toe box these are fine.Yeah, that sums it up. They're fine.
