This is a well made pair of all day wearing ladies casual shoes. They are stylish enough for business casual and slip on very easily without bending the back down. They seem to have good slip resistance as well.
I've been wearing these a lot for over a week. It's tough to review shoes because of the variance of feet and shoe sizes. I am finding these to be a little tight in the toebox; you want to be able to wiggle your toes. But I feel them loosening up the more I walk and bend in them. However, the heels are too wide for me and they are rubbing on and irritating my heels. I have been wearing them with no show socks because it is still warm weather. But by the end of the week, cool fall weather starts up and I will be wearing them with higher socks, which I think will help with the heel rub. When I opened them I was taken back by how big they looked. I wear a Size 9 and the bottom of the shoe is thick! (see my photos). I walked Frankenstein-like at first because they are a little stiff when bending. My intention is to use these as house-only shoes. Slippers, I guess. After years of going barefoot or in stocking feet I now need to wear supportive shoes in the house because walking flat footed sometimes flares up my lower back pain. These shoes do seem like they have good support for my needs.A little disappointed by the heel rubbing. I really like that these are machine washable as well. If you are sensitive to shoes that look large on your feet, then these might not be for you. But they are surprisingly lightweight.
I live in lined clogs from about September to April, so was particularly happy to find these. I really like the lining as opposed to having to put on socks for a quick trip out to the mailbox or whatever. I have ultra high arches so first looked at them for the super comfy and deluxe-looking sole, then noticed they have some lining which is plush but not so heavy they'll be hot where I live in the Southern US.Out of the box I loved the quilted appearance. But when I first put them on I wasn't sure I'd like them - they seem like they might accommodate a wider foot. Mine is a little on the narrow side. They're also about 3/8 inch too long and the tab on the back bothered the back of my ankle a little. But as I wore them around the house they started to break in and mold to my foot and I wound up wearing them for a couple hours and doing fine with the fit.I'm a little sorry I didn't order the navy which will probably go with more things - really might order that too. The only thing I don't like is the bottom seems a tiny bit slick. Best be careful wearing these on a polished floor or marble. I might put some rubber cement or something on mine for a little more grip.
I love slip-on tennis shoes and thought these would be great, especially because of the Dearfoams reputation. There are some pros and some cons to these:Pro:- Comfortable for all day wear. These have great support - cushioned but firm.- Great stability - These have a wide base. The sole actually extends beyond the top part of the shoe making you more stable when standing and walking.- Added height - I like that these give you an inch or inch and a half extra height because of the thickness of the soles.- Neutral color - I got the bone color, which is neutral and goes with a lot of outfits.Cons:- Sizing runs a little small: I am a size 9 in almost every shoe. If I put these on barefoot, they just barely fit. If try to wear socks, they are tight.- Warm - They have a fur-like lining which makes them very warm (my feet start sweating in them pretty quickly), so I don't recommend wearing these on a hot day. If your feet tend to be cold a lot or if you live in a cold environment, then this would be a pro for you. But I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas where it is hot and humid much of the year, so I will only be able to wear these in our 2-3 months of cold weather.- Appearance - these aren't especially attractive shoes. I doubt anyone will give you a compliment on them.Overall, I am disappointed in these but because of the pros mentioned above, I will wear them on colder days.
Ordered for my wife. Dearfoams makes quality footwear. These sneakers are no exception. They are very lightweight and easy to slip on. Sizing was perfect with no issues. The material is very good quality and would be easy to clean. Even though they are lightweight they are very supportive of her feet. Very comfortable to wear also. She has worn them for several days now and just loves how they make her feet feel.
These Dearfoams Women's Crimson All Day Wear Slip on Lightweight Sneakers are cute and funky. They are different from anything I own. They have a nylon-type upper with a stitched design that reminds me of a topographic map. These slip-on shoes come up high on the foot and they have elastic on the sides. They have high counters with reflective pull-on strips on the back and a wide, angled sole that offers good stability and traction, making them comfortable for walking. The inner sole has a lot of padding and good arch support. The back third of the shoe has a fleece/faux fur lining. After wearing footbed sandals all summer, these are a big change-up. They feel good on my feet, the sole has some flexibility so I can stand on my tiptoes to reach things. I'd initially bought these to wear around the house, but they're more than cute enough for streetwear. They remind me of a Sketchers-type waking shoe, but they are far more comfortable than any pair of Sketchers I have ever owned. Also, they're not ugly.I chose the bone color. It's a neutral dark cream and the sole is bright white with colored flecks throughout. These shoes were $56.00 at time of purchase, which is not out of line for a good pair of shoes. I'm happy with this purchase and I look forward to wearing them a lot this fall.
