I was in desperate need of some walkin' around shoes; in fact, I was seriously OVERdue. So I logged on to my trusty Amazon and, before I knew it, I'd gone a little Shoe Crazy!In my defense, let's face it, SHOES are one (two?) of the hardest thngs to get right in an online purchase, bc just knowing ur SIZE is completely inadequate to the task! Bc there are LOTS more factors that go into a GOOD, COMFORTABLE fitting shoe than JUST that number.But I read dozens n dozens of reviews n most of them said of THIS maker n THIS shoe, that it was beautifully well made, a great value for the price, AND it ran large. About 2 sizes large. Well that's mostly accurate.I'm here to tell you that this ALL leather upper shoe IS the real deal! It is nothing short of an incredible valu for the money. It looks exceptionally well made - STURDY even - w/NO cut corners to be found (I looked!).BUT - as to sizing, a few important points.... What SHAPE are ur feet? R they NARROW? R they FLAT? Or do u hv a HIGH ARCH? I myself have wide feet, n arches hi enuf to park a VW under... And it is my sincerely SAD duty to say that this lovely, well made, terrific bargain of a shoe - was NOT made w/MY shape foot in mind. And I ordered SEVERAL pairs (oops)(this is just the 1st to arrive), so I am (potentially) well n truly BUMMED.Why "potentially". Well, bc these shoes aren't really LARGER than the marked size - they run LONGER, literally. As if they took Ur size, what evr it may be, n just pulled it at the toe n LENGTHENED it...Why does this matter? Well, for ppl like me (w/wide feet), many times we can 'make' a too narrow shoe 'work' by buying a size or half size UP, bc it often creates enuf additional room around the widest area of a too-slim shoe, that our chubby feet are able to comfortably 'overflow' into it.The diff with THIS shoe, is that th area that gets 'stretched out', makg the shoe an inch or more Longer, is the 'skinny' part of this shoe, so the same overflow opportunity duznt seem to be there...But here's the silver lining: I tried on THIS pair n found them to be too narrow, and w/about an unfilled inch up in the toe box. In most shoes, that's not ok, bc u end up moving around IN the shoe TOO MUCH, so it doesn't feel secure enuf to be comfortable. But here's the thing: and I've never encountered this before: bc of it's narrowness, the shoe really HUGS the foot, do the extra length is NOT a problem (for ME; it wd be if it was much longer, but I read the reviews that said order 2 sizes smaller, n I mostly did).Now Iv only had the shoes on briefly, so I wont be sure until Ivr walked in them for a while, but in 'hugging' my feet, for some reason, it didn't seem to HURT, which narrow shoestypically DO. Again, I need to walk in them to be sure (which I hesitate to do, bc then they prob can't be returned n re-sold. But since I ordered several pairs of these shoes in diff colors, n 2 or 3 diff sizes, I'll probably pick the one with the most promising 'fit' for my Flintstone feet n wear them long enuf to C whether they are keepers (for me), or whether they're gonna make some thrift store shopper's day!Ideally, I'd love it if these folks wd make the SAME shoe, but with some nice ARCH SUPPORT, and with a WIDE option, too. But in lieu of that I'm still open to the poss that 1 or more of the shoes I ordered (and am still waiting for) may fit well enuf to keep, afterall.And THAT should tell u plenty about how terrific the shoe REALLY is, when people are willing to bend over back wards to see if they can be made to 'work'. Nobody goes thru such non-sense unless the shoes are WORTH it - and THEY ARE!Narrow footed folks of the world? Order smaller, as advised, n STOCK UP! U wide walkers out there? Wait for the company to start offering a Wide Width option on their shoes, wait for my follow up review on what the experiment (of trying these out anyway) revealed, or don't wait n try ur OWN experiment. They're worth the effort, and/or the wait.😁

Great product definitely worth the price. Runs a little bit bigger than most shows is only negative that I have. I wear a 9 1/2 purchased size 9 and still little too big

The quality of the shoes is comparable to shoes with higher price tags. Leather upper, leather lining, leather insole, rubber outsole for less than $40! What can you ask for? The other reviews are correct. It wears big. I usually wear a US 9.5, I ordered a US 9, it wears like a UK 9 or EU 44. I will not return the shoes because I like them so much. Thicker insoles will make this work for me.

At least 1.5 sizes too big!

This was my second purchase with the black and brown and both are good. Good price and I also bought more of the other design. At first they were snug but like leather and new but now they are perfect.

Purchased these for my husband who wanted casual shoes for work. He said they are very comfortable and he likes the color as well.

Fits well I have wide feet it fits goog
