I wear a size 9 in tennis shoes, so I ordered a 9 wide in these, paying $60.00. This shoe is poorly designed and/or is defective in construction. The back part that sits against the ankle is cut so high that it rises above the ankle and prevents a proper gait! The inside sole provides no form or stability, making my foot feel it's sitting inside a box and the toe box area is very tight. The heel area is very wide and coupled with the cut of the ankle part, prevented my foot from sitting against the heel part of the shoe, pushing it forward. Horrible shoes for $60.00. There is no way to walk in these. I returned them citing the above details and that they HAVE TO BE defective. Who designed these?? I've had $10 cheapies (to use while gardening/yard work) from a big box store that has a much better fit.
The ankle part behind the shoe rubs too much.
