Propet was founded on the belief that everyone deserves comfortable shoes that fit well. They recognized that the standard one-width sizing system often left people with ill-fitting footwear.
Propet takes pride in offering a wide range of sizes and widths to ensure a perfect fit for every foot. Their in-house design team, with over 40 years of combined experience, creates stylish and comfortable shoes tailored to your needs.
Purchased these shoes as an aid to help with a case of Plantar Faciitus. Found these to be a comfortable, well-made shoe. The wide (3X) runs a little wider than expected, but you can remedy this fact by wearing a thick cotton sox. No shoe can anticipate or measure the arch support you need; but this shoe will accomodate arched inserts quite nicely. The shoe has high back for good ankle support and plenty of lace holes for a tight laced fit. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS SHOE . WOULD DEFINATELY PURCHASE THEM AGAIN!!!
They are way to narrow,
My husband is diabetic and has hammer toes, so was getting fitted for shoes at the place he gets his orthotic inserts - Expensive and he didn't like the support of the Propet shoe they ordered him. I was familiar with this model, and he loves it. He wears it to work out, walking and everywhere else. His feet are happy, they wear well, they are roomy enough for orthotics, and the price is right! Also, the men's model comes in a variety of colors that look nice with jeans and casual wear (hint to Propet - offer something besides black and white for Women!!).
I work as a delivery driver and I'm on my feet 10-11 hours a day. I'm severe flat footed and finding a shoe that is comfortable is a ongoing dilemma. I've New Balance, PW Minor, Brooks and many others. This felt great right of the box. Excellent roomy toe box and nice cushioning. On durability the jury is still out, but after 2 months it's hanging in there. Nice Shoe
I have purchased many different shoes and boots from Propet. This is my first sneaker however. The shoes are one of the better ones I have purchased. While the top part of the shoe is okay material which may wear quickly, the sole is of better quality. Some of the shoes I have purchased from Propet have horrible soles consisting of foam type rubber. These shoes have good quality rubber that looks like it will wear evenly and last a while. Propet has been my go to for wide shoes that are in the moderately priced category. Give them a try if you have Hobbit feet like me.
Even though we ordered the wide shoes they are still to snug across the toes. As a diabetic he can't risk getting blister on his feet.
Wore shoes for two months only on treadmill. D-Ring eyelet pulled apart and therefore doesn't lace properly. With only a 30 day warranty Amazon won't do anything. Contacted Propet twice with only one response telling me I had to deal with Amazon. Propet does not stand behind the quality of their shoes and I would strongly suggest that you find another company to purchase your shoes from.
I have worn these for two weeks, with superfeet inserts (green), and my feet feel a lot better at the end of the day. I have tried a dozen pairs of shoes in the last two years, some as much as $240.00. Some of the shoes work good for a couple of months then it is back to aching feet. I am rough on shoes and will put these to the test in the coming months. I wonder how I will feel about them in November.
