I have just received my shoes in coral mesh and they are so much better than I expected. I read many reviews on these shoes and then decided to try them due to the number of great reviews they have received. I am not dissapointed.First and foremost is the comfort. They are lightweight, but not cheap; they have a sturdy sole and great support; and I love the ease of not having to tie them. They do run a tad bit small. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and I bought the 9 and they are perfect. They don't make my feet look big either, even though they are coral. The coral is actually not a bad color and normally I'm not an orangy person.I plan on buying another pair, not sure which color as they do come in a great variety. If you are on the fence about these shoes I don't think you will be dissapointed with them. You almost don't feel like you even have shoes on our feet. I don't think I have even had a pair of slippers this comfortable.
The only con is the vendor doesn't say these sneakers are not appropriate for fall or winter. The fabric is very thin and see-through. I think for summer they will be great. I'm using them indoors for now. Great for my post-op foot. Plenty of room, cushy insoles. Just buy your usual size, don't look at the size list below, it's way off.
This is my second pair of Propet Travel Walker II shoes. I use these shoes for travel primarily on cruises for dinner or lunch, for nightly entertainment, and for short walks on deck or around the ship after lunch or dinner and sometimes to the fitness center for resistance workouts or the stationary bike (but not treadmill). We are avid walkers, so I always wear sturdier shoes for our miles of walking. But these Propet shoes are very comfortable, stylish, lightweight for packing, and suit their purpose for shipboard wear, just not in ports when we are doing a lot of walking. They would be fine for tours that do not involve a lot of walking or tricky terrain. I always get a lot of compliments on them when cruising because women notice they are cute, comfortable looking, and functional for travel and ship wear without the usual clunky look of walking shoes being worn to dinner and with more practicality and comfort (walk on deck or on ship immediately after dinner) than dressier shoes. I buy the Propets in the same size as I do a sports or walking shoe. If you are looking for good walking shoes or shoes where you will be on your feet for long periods of time, these likely will not provide the support you need. But if you are looking for casual stylish shoes, travel shoes with breathability and light packability, and for short walks (1-2 miles) on low-impact terrain (wood, carpeted floors, etc.), then I recommend considering these shoes.
I just returned from three weeks in Europe and these shoes (in taupe) were fantastic; I'm so glad I bought them. I walked miles on cobblestone, dirt and gravel, hoofed it up many flights of stairs, and through nine airports and was happy with my shoes in every circumstance. They weigh nothing, are easy on/off for airports, adjust beautifully and comfortably for inevitable swelling due to travel/heat, and look great. I purchased them a couple of months before the trip so I could decide if they would be supportive enough. I ultimately decided to add berry Superfeet which I usually wear in my running and hiking shoes but I'm still not 100% sure I needed to.I received lots of compliments on the trip and before I left. The sole is flexible and thin, so you do feel the ground under your feet. After I wore them around a bit, I realized that my feet still felt supported and weren't sore (even before I added the insole) so I managed to get used to the feeling. I'm glad I did!
This is my third pair of these lightweight tennis shoes. They have a slim line sole, so easy to pack for travel. A great walking shoe. Mine were true to size. After a lot of wear, I hand washed them, but after a few years, the fabric will start pulling away from the sole and the glue on the rubber fails, causing some of the tread to fall off. Alas, I still rebought because they filled my needs and I found them comfortable.
Really liked shoes, ordered a size down because of reviews probably could’ve ordered a whole Nother size down though but very comfortable and wide
Not only comfortable they’re also cute. Easy to put on and off.
These shoes are terrible. Mine only lasted 3 months, and that was with me using them to their limit. I had to throw them away after that because they were falling apart and my left big toe somehow dug a hole through the shoe. These shoes don't have any protection against the rain. The soles are made of this foamy material like the bottom of a flipflop. They have no traction at all, and stepping on a sharp object will puncture your shoe. I stepped on a nail once while wearing these, and after pulling it from the bottom of my right shoe, there was a hole. Another time, my dog accidentally stepped on my foot. It hurt a lot and her claws didn't help the torn up mesh situation. These shoes are overly priced too. At the time I'm writing this, they're priced at $39.00. For around $50, you can buy a pair of really good walking shoes that will last at least 6 months if not a year or more. Also, it doesn't matter if these shoes don't set off metal detectors because you always have to take your shoes off at the airport regardless of what they're made of. You shouldn't pay any more than $15.00 for these shoes. If you insist on using them, you should be primarily indoors in an environment that is linoleum free where you will walk no more than 1/4 miles per day. Your environment should also be free of concrete, water, rocks or other pointed objects at floor level, or anything that might role over your feet by accident like a cart or suitcase. Note that stepping on a rock probably won't break the shoe, but it hurts a lot.
