I love these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable, light-weight, and stylish. I would definitely purchase again!
These are cute to wear with leggings or skinny jeans. They’re a little “stiff” but I don’t mind and may soften over time. With these I sized up .5 (some Sorel shoes fit me true to size and some I have to go up .5 or 1 full size). I would recommend if you don’t mind a “stiff” shoe. 🤓
I usually love Sorels for my 10 hour shifts on my feet, but these shoes have a strange curve to the sole that is not comfortable at all. I tried putting in inserts and wore them regularly hoping they needed to be broken in. The only thing I can see these shoes being good for is a short walk in the rain. They are pretty cute, but a bit clunky.
These shoes are perfect. Nice to have a tennis shoe a little dressier than your conventional sneaker. They are water proof which is a perfect advantage when living in florida with showers most summer days my feet get to stay dry and in winters warm.
I really wanted to like them. I love Sorel shoes/boots. But they looked wide and the fit was a little big. The quality is great though.
A friend and I purchased these shoes for a trip to the UK, because they were described as waterproof walking shoes and that was what we needed to walk around and explore the sites of Dublin, Glasgow, the Lakes District and Liverpool. Unfortunately, these shoes were not as described and not at all what we would recommend as an ideal sneaker for traveling.Despite being described as a comfortable walking shoe, when walking around city sites, these shoes were heavy, had unpadded soles, and were hard making them overall simply uncomfortable for walking any distance. The fit and support of these shoes were also uncomfortable for both my friend and I. The way the shoes are designed does not allow for your foot to remain secure. Despite the thickness of socks used, the design of these shoes allow your foot to slide back and forth inside of the shoe every time you take a step, slamming your toes and/or rubbing the back of your ankles each time.In the end, the bruising, blisters, and general pain that these sneakers caused made it unbearable to continue wearing these after four days and over 40,000 steps, which is as disappointing after spending so much money on a shoe and a brand that we thought would be supportive, comfortable and fitting for our walking and traveling needs. With 11 more days to go and many more steps ahead in our trip, we both ended up buying cheap Puma sneakers in Europe for $25 and found supremely better support, comfort, and relief for the remainder of our trip.
I bought these because I wanted a fashionable waterproof tennis shoe for traveling to an area that's going to be raining.Pros: overall a nice looking waterproof shoe. I love the color placement. Just looks like someone cared about fashion.Cons: first thing I noticed was the insole looks like the outsole and as I was putting it on I got confused thinking maybe I was putting it on the wrong foot, but no, it was correct. It's weird to have extra shoe fabric on the arch side of your foot. Maybe it's designed for people with fat and flat arches, I don't know. But there isn't any arch support in the shoe either so that's my deduction. The footbed is pretty hard so if you like a cushy footbed, look somewhere else. Next, I'm a size 7.5 and I bought an 8. Definitely go up half a size to a full size when buying these shoes. I have narrow heels and my feet don't have any fat to them. That said, the heel of the shoe was too wide but the area of the shoe for the greatest width of the foot, was too narrow. It's as if they designed the shoe for a log, not a foot. So when I walked, my heel would slip around but the front part of my foot was aching in pain from being under pressure. I'm used to wearing high heels, but this was just uncomfortable. Furthermore, my whole foot seemed to slip forward in the shoe. And for some reason, I felt like I was wearing two different shoes when I was walking around. Last con, the sides of the shoe come up too high on the ankles cutting into the ankle bones as you walk. I've never noticed, but like people have long or short necks, maybe people have long heel bones to where their ankle bones are much higher and this shoe maybe wouldn't bother them.I gave this 2 stars purely based on appearance (minus the weird insole design). I deducted 3 stars for whoever marketed this shoe for a foot and not a log.
These Sorels live up to the hype! They’re comfortable, I find the fit perfect and I went up 1/2 a size. I love that they’re waterproof! I bought them for the rain but they worked in snow too :)
