They feel hard at first, but break in quickly. Unfortunately, they also wear out quickly. I like the way they look and feel, but the leather actually starts to wear away after only a few months. I guess for the price they aren't bad.
It's very hard to find extra wide shoes for me so when I saw these, I had to try them. I have very wide feet so it gets challenging when I need new shoes. They arrived ahead of the expected date and were priced reasonably. They were very tight getting my feet inside. I wore them a few times around the house to see if they would stretch or if I would need to return them. They did stretch and are more comfortable with thin socks. I haven't had them on a full day of work yet but for now, they are doable.Update- I wore them to work the entire day and there were times throughout the day I had to take them off. My pinky toes hurt from the tightness of the shoes.
Love these shoes! I didn’t know how lousy my other shoes were until I spent a work day in 24 hour comfort shoes. Just a note: keep the variety of colors and extra wide in stock. We are out here and we will buy comfort if it’s available.
