These boots are super cute and the color pops well especially if you wear dark clothes. I wore them in New York so obviously I did a lot of walking in them and it took a few hours for them to become uncomfortable so that’s pretty nice. If you were only wearing them for a few hours they feel nice. I have super wide calves and they fit them perfectly. I also didn’t get too sweaty in them as it was cold outside, however.
Great color, perfect height
I wanted to love these boots. When I put them on they felt really good. I ordered a 7.5w and it fit great. It is hard to have a wide foot and get a great fit in width and length.However, as you can see in the pictures the calves are oddly large and gape. I do not have skinny legs, so that is not the problem.Also the material feels plastic. From a distance they look okay, but up close you can tell they are not leather.Very disappointing for Aerosoles. I was so excited for these.So bottom line, if you have a larger calf and boots are usually tight around the calves, these will work, as long and you do not care about the artificial/synthetic material look.
I have a pair in every color but brown, which I will have when they get my size in. I love them. They are really comfortable!
The quality and comfort is great, but the calves ran large and stuck out too much for me! I'm 5'3" and weigh 115lbs. if that helps! Average size calves
Run true to size, calves fit well, I'm a little thick. Nice heal height and stylish. Loved the Gray and also ordered the brown. I like aerosole as a brand itself.
The boots look very good but we ordered size 8 1/2 wide twice and we received 81/2 medium twice. Very disappointing that we had to return the boots twice to get a refund.
On sizing: Ordered the 11W. I'm usually a size 11, so it fits the foot true to size. My calf circumference is about 16"--and one thing I have realized about boots like these is that the calf circumference of the boot generally increases with the shoe sizing. In my experience, estimated circumference measurement in the product description often is based on like a size 6; so for the size 11 that I wear, the circumference is going to be bigger. So for me, I actually didn't need to order the W version. While the shaft opening hole was fine, the calf part ended up being awkwardly oversized (reminded me of the flappy part of a turkey's neck).On comfort: The main reason I ordered this was because they are Aerosoles--a brand that I've found reliable for comfy yet stylish footwear. While I didn't wear it for an extended time, these boots didn't seem to be any exception to this. The heel height was great (my measurement was 3").On material: I was most disappointed with the overall shoe construction. The upper looked and felt extremely plastic-y, and when wearing the boot the shaft bends and crinkles significantly. I also was not a fan of the seam line that runs vertically down the boot shaft where your shinbone is.On order: First time ordering shoes from Amazon. I've heard some horror stories (about the product not being real, receiving used product, etc.), so I was a bit weary. But the package arrived earlier than estimated with the regular free shipping, and the packaging was what you'd expect--so no complaints there.Overall: it was a nice try for the price, but will be returning and trying for something higher quality.
