Got these just before the cold spell, with single digit temperatures. My feet have stayed warm with just thin socks. Had to do some uphill and downhill hiking in the snow, about 2.5 miles worth. My feet stayed warm and dry the whole time. No problem with traction, and it was pretty steep in places. Comfortable on feet out of the box and stayed comfortable ever since. Only giving 4 star for now, but that’s because I have to give them the full test of time….I’ll update once I’ve logged more miles
When i received my boots, they fit great and were very comfortable. But i noticed on one of the boots where it was double stitched, one of the rows of stiches did not stitch into the base layer like it should have. I started a return and chose the like for like replacement. Not until i had completed the return did it notify me that the estimated replacement is the middle of January. If i would have known that up front i would have just returned for refund and found them else where. I order new boots because i needed new boots in a timely fashion. I dont know if this is a seller issue or an Amazon issue.
Great fit. Was wearing the 1st generation with Goretex water proof lining comp toe. This updated version is even better. Same lock in feeling but way and I mean it way better comfort this time around. No break in time at all well cushioned. Have a bit of a bounce when walking. Updated look and better fit. Will definitely purchase this pair again
