I am a 12 wide. I ordered the 12E though cause it's a pointy toe. There is padding on the inside. It's a bit big, but doesn't fall off. There is no tread on the bottom so be careful on slippery floors. It is a nice looking professional shoe.

I bought these Bella Vitas because I needed a classic black pump for my wardrobe, and these were marked way down at the time. The shoes are very elegant in person, and the heel is a nice height: tall enough to look classy but low enough that it's easy to walk in. The footbed feels pretty well-padded, too. Especially since these were a terrific price when I bought them, I'm very happy with them (happy enough that I also bought them in pewter!).As for sizing, I am usually a 9.5W but often need to order wider in Bella Vitas, and based on other reviewers' advice I ordered these in both 9.5WW and 10WW to see which fit better. I wound up keeping the 10; the 9.5 technically fit (it was actually the more accurate length of the two), but it was extremely tight across my toes. The 10 feels a little looser lengthwise but still stays on fine, and it mercifully has enough room in the toe box that it does not cramp my feet the way the 9.5 did.

I had bought a pair of white low heels that I wore every day for four years that were $14 and cheap, and when they wore out, I decided I needed an upgrade. This was an amazing choice. The tread on the bottom of the heel is so adorable and original, and the top of the shoe is perfect (see: compliments every day, especially from guys). I'm 5' 8", thin, and have tiny feet, and the point detail makes my legs look model thin. They're classy, but funky enough that you can pair em' with some nice tights, shorts, and a sweet sweater and you look amazing. They're comfy too, but you do have to break them in (quality kid skin leather is like that) and it takes about a week of constant wear. After that, they're supple and comfy. I work 8 hr shifts and walk a lot at the college I go to, and my legs and feet still felt great at the end of the day (I added Dr. Scholl's foam inserts for comfort, I do this with all my shoes). They are true to size (I'm a 7.5 M, and these are right on). Overall, these are REALLY high quality, and totally amazing for anyone who wants to look thinner, or have long legs without the large heel.Who these wouldn't be perfect for: anyone who thinks they have big feet, or have especially wide feet. For anyone else, these are the best pointed pumps you'll find, in store, or on the internet.

The shoes are very pretty and classy looking. However, I'm usually a 9/9.5 narrow (I have a very narrow foot) and I ordered a 9.5 N. They fit everywhere throughout the shoe, except one area. My second toes (next to my pinky toes) were killing me at the end of the day. It feels like the shoes should be longer due to the angle in which the shoe tapers to a point. As far as my foot shape, I need a narrow shoe because my heel will slip out of my shoes and if wearing slip on shoes, I need a narrow because my foot will just slide forward leaving my toes hanging over the front edge of the shoe. With that said, this shoe may fit better if I had bought a 10 N instead.If you are a narrow and kind of in between sizes like me, order a half size over the larger size you usually buy.

They are a classic style, you will be able to wear them for years. The heel is high enough to be dressy and attractive, but not so high that you run the risk of foot damage every time you wear them. The style is also foot flattering and visually lengthens your leg; this is a plus, The floral/cork is a nice, subtle design and will work well with many colors/clothing styles, especially spring and summer styles. Fit is good; I wear just what I would expect my size to be, size seems right-on-the-button and easy to wear. I will note here that this review applies to thei floral cork style and leather styles: I have found that other patterns in this style,, especially non-leather versions of the shoe, seem to be tighter/smaller. I appreciate the availability of Wide and Extra-Wide widths in attractive dress shoes, and they actually ARE wider, unlike some "wide" shoes, however, they do run narrower than many Bella Vita shoes: I purchased WW and iI would say it is more equivalent to other Bella Vita W width shoes I have. Also, I note that because of the cut, one's toes (toe cleavage?) will show. You will enjoy these stylish shoes and appreciate the many sizes and widths that are available.

I know we do some awful squeezing sometimes when we just "gotta" get that beautiful shoe to fit even if I have to grease my feet....these aren't like that. On me all pumps seem slightly tight when I 1st wear them but these did not hurt or rub. I really didn't know what color "sable"was, I was hoping it was brown and they are but they are black as well so you can wear them with either and no one would notice except to say how nice they look. I am very ill and still like to look nice and I wore these this past Sunday and didn't fall or trip and I didn't feel in a hurry to get in the car to pull them off. Lovely shoes, hopefully they will be well made and last several years.Halleluyia

The other reviews are correct. These shoes run extremely narrow. Had to pay to return so didn't bother to see if wide fit better. Never buy wide and others said they ran too narrow as well. Had I not had to pay for returning I would have taken a chance. However, wasn't going to risk having to pay with nothing to show for it. .UPDATE: Decide to go ahead and try the wide. It fits perfectly.
