These run big and wear like boots, which is what they are. Some Chucks wear like shoes and some are more boot like and these are the latter. I’ll keep em even though they’re a little clomp-clompy on the ground. Made well. Laces are not the best.
Just not quite comfortable.
This is my second pair of Bogs, and it took me years to wear out the first pair. These boots fit great, were super comfortable and were perfect for our Pacific Northwest rainy weather. I was working in the garage today when this happened: the sole separated from the boot. I was preparing to write an excellent review, but instead am returning them. FYI- I purchased them on February 8, 2023. They lost their sole on February 19. Fortunately, it is still within the return period.
This is a great boot. Wears well. Wear mine daily with no fatigue at end of day.
Bought for water resistant feature and reasonable price. The shoes are very cpmfortabe but:After about 3 months the right toe began to leak so that walking in grass in the morning resulted in wet socks. After 8 months the sole on the left shore came loose. Examination of right sole indicated that too was coming loose.Slow learner, tried a 2nd pair, sole started to come loose in 2 monthsGood shoes for week end hikes and perhaps for dry walking but not up to daily wetting.
Leaks on the inside edge of the right shoe which has caused the insole to come apart. This after less than a month of wear. Boots also scratch extremely easily.
Do not waste your money on these after wearing only 5 times to the office they are coming apart where the leather meets the soles on both shoes in the same locations of the shoes. BOGS are supposed to be a good quality shoe this is a disgrace they cannot be worn anymore. I am contacting BOGS about this as Amazon only ships the shoe they do not make them.
Aside from the delay in shipping, when they finally arrived I was extremely disappointed. They feel like a pair of boots you would pick from a box store, not worth the price I paid for them.Don’t waste your money
