I am wearing them as I write :) since I came home for a quick break from work. I use them daily on the farm in all kinds of weather conditions and find I am warm, dry, and comfortable. They are light compared to most other similar brands and give me enough support so that I do not find my legs or feet as tired. I am trudging around all day over all types of terrain so that is important to me. I guess I should have measured the height of the pair this replaced since I did think "Ultra High" would be closer to knee level but they are definitely as high as the previous pair that I bought. Those came about mid calf or maybe a bit higher and these new boots are the same so know that I am sufficiently covered. The back of the boot is a bit higher than the front,as pictured, and so that makes like a 'scoop' over the back of my calf. So far Maryland has had a fairly mild winter season and temps have not dipped (so far) below zero but these are rated the same as my last pair and so we could get much colder and I am sure that I will still be ok. The tread is great too! That was proven recently while chasing a neighbors pony mule out of the horse fields lol. Highly recommended :)
When I saw these deeply discounted Thanksgiving weekend I couldn't pass snatching them up. I'm usually somewhere between a 7-7.5 and was really hoping these ran big. Unfortunately they were a hair too small. But other than that they're great- warm, well made, comfortable. I had no problem getting a friend of mine to take them off my hands for me.
Very comfortable and waterproof!!!
I keep trying to find the old-fashioned Bogs that I bought years ago. These are more sturdy, and less bendable. This may help in the long run, but I'm going for the comfort of the original version. I bought two pairs, trying to find the quality I wanted and decided to go with the style listed below. It was more pliable and comfortable for daily chore use. I’ve been a Bog wearer for many years and they out perform any boot on the market. I raise livestock and I’m out in sun zero weather all winter and muck the rest of the year. You can count on Bogs to keep your feet warm and dry. They don’t leak and they are comfortable. Most of mine lasted 5 years or so with daily use.It seems that they changed their boot last from my last order. I’m a true nine, have always worn nines but had to exchange these for a 10 this year (with no change of sizes in my other shoes).
I currently work at a gas station where gas and other liquids are sometimes present. Go figure…I’ve tried several other boots/shoes and these are the first I’ve worn that are ACTUALLY as described. I like that they are slip resistant, true to size, truly keep my feet dry and protected and are so comfortable and easy to get on and off. My only concern was that the shaft opening seemed a little tight at first but maybe my calves were swollen or something, who knows, bottom line I love these boots would and have definitely recommend them and will purchase again when needed. So far they’ve made it through the first rainy/snowy/icy season so we’ll see how it goes.
LOVE my Bogs! I was a little nervous as when they first arrived, and the first couple of wears, they were tight around the calf, and difficult to get off, but they're perfect now after a couple of wears! They have withstood the test of wading into the Atlantic ocean, for a long duration, and are absolutely waterproof. They also kept my feet from getting cold. I have a feeling these are going to last me a VERY long time, however, when (if) they need to be replaced, I will buy another pair of the same! SO worth the money!!
Bought these boots for my daughter to go deer hunting and snowmobiling . The were rated for 40 below zero. My daughter went deer hunting the past weekend and it was 35 degrees and her feet got cold. Had to use feet warmers. Not pleased.
