Very sharp looking and COMFORTABLE boots! They were too wide in the calf. I sooo wanted to keep them, but Im tall and don’t have very large calves so they didn’t look right on me. LOVED thou!
It was time for me to buy new boots! I was looking for real leather this time because pleather sucks. I normally wear a 9 and 1/2 shoe. And I have a 16-in calf. I am thrilled with the comfort of the size 9 and 1/2 I purchased. I also have a wide foot and I have worn these an entire day at work walking up and down stairs and I never felt like I needed to get them off my feet. For my calf right at first I didn't think they were going to zip up. But after several tries I have zero problem. Now doing a complete zip is fast and easy. I can wear them with tights and my running pants but I can't put thick socks under them. At least not at this point. So I'm fine with going with the tights and running pants. Did I say I love these boots? For me? They really are comfortable! I love them so much that I bought them in a different color as well and the fit was just the same. I don't know that this matters but in case it helps make a decision, I am 5'9 and 165 lb. They hit me right below the knee.Do note if you have a wider calf than a 16 I did try to order the wide calf version of this Born Sadler boot and for me it was huge. So don't despair if you don't think you could do this particular style. That was available but I had to that wide calf style.
Love these boots. But they are a very dull, muted, muddy leather and not shiny at all. The black ones are beautiful. But these are very different. Hopefully I can shine them! Nice arch support and very well made.
I’ve had Born boots before. These live up to their name. If I had been in the store I might have bought a half size smaller. But maybe not. This one fit almost perfect. My heel is narrower than most people, so it slips a bit on the heel but not enough for a return. I love Born boots and shoes.

Beautiful boot but had to return as they would not fit over my calf’s .. very disappointed 😔
These boots were made for looks more than function. The toe shape is so severe as to not allow the foot to lie flat which as I'm sure you'll know is not good for all day riding let alone walking or standing for very long. Leather is good quality and build is solid otherwise lower stars would be appropriate.
